      Hi Eric,
It’d be nice if Zwift could have a distance count down on all of the routes, like they do on the organised rides (Fondo, ToL etc)

I agree! This would take the guess work out due to lead-in distances.

First time user. Tried to ride a flat route for 2 hr 20 min but it kept going up and down hills. So far this is confusing. Where are the flat routes and just ride please at my own pace like my training plan had for today? The resistance on my ride today kept increasing yet at times still said I was going 15 mph..ha. Not a chance. Thanks.

Try Watopia’s “Tempus Fugit” Route. That’s the flattest one around!

Looks like you’ve converted all the distances in the route descriptions to km only. I know most of the cycling world operates on kilometers, but Americans think in miles. I like the site and use it a lot, but it’s a bummer to not have the miles listed anymore. Just my two cents.

Still a work in progress! We’re moving all the route detail pages over to our new, vastly upgraded format in the next week or two.

Just added the code today to make them display in Metric as well as Imperial, so we’re all good there.

Here’s an example of the new routes page: https://zwiftinsider.com/route/figure-8/

I’m planning on riding repeats of Leith Hill and am wondering if there’s a shorter or faster way there than from the Greatest London Loop where I’m looking at a 13 km lead in.

How do you setup to ride a reverse route? Many aren’t available to select from within Zwift course selection. Thanks!

Many reverse routes are event-only. Some of those you can ride by just flipping a u-turn off the forward version. Sometimes.

Hi Eric, I wondered why there is not a Tick Tock REVERSE Strava segment setup? It seems there are some U-Turn segments setup, but not all? I’ve been considering an Annual Dashboard of all verified ZI routes to tick off and complete each calendar year or season.

Zwift has made reverse versions of some routes, but not all. Not sure why Tick Tock Reverse isn’t a thing – I think it would be a good one!

I notice only three options with routes for each show when in game, and I see here, there are several other options. Any advice on how to access all the locations in game?

      Hi
I Think it is a shame, that the long distance ( 140+ km ) route is none existing. Thats why i dont use zwift so much. I get better and longer route, like it is yourself who rides, in other virtual programs.

New to Zwift. I love this training platform. Very necessary now that it is getting cold in Chicago. Question: on the elevation bar on the bottom of the screen…how can I tell where I am at on the bar? I don’t see any indicator. Thanks very much.

When in game, go to Menu>Badges and look at the route badge list. That at least tells you which badges you’re missing! Doesn’t include the event-only routes.

Try Road to the Sky (shortest), Tour of Fire and Ice, Four Horsemen or the Über Pretzel (longest) and you find it.
      Good luck!

      my son of 11 weights 37kg, FTP 138W, 3,8W/kg.
In his first race (C race) there was the remark: tim to level up, you’re to strong for this group. We’ve ratcheted back your power a bit for the remainder of this ride. He was 8 of 9 riders at the end.
Which category must i choose for the next race? Zwiftpower mentioned, minimum category: D. But if he is to strong for a C race, what will it be in a D race? In don’t understand….

If I ride one Zwift course that includes another Zwift course in its entirety, including the lead-in, do I get credit for both course badges during the same ride? One example would be the new Valley to Mountaintop at the end of the Kappa Quest Reverse course. The second loop seems to entirely cover the Valley to Mountaintop course.

No you only get the badge for the route you started on Zwift. On Strava (if you use it) you will get all the segments that you pass and finish.

There are exceptions ofc considering routes where you can do multiple laps. If you do 25 laps on lava loop you get one for the route (once) and the badges for 5,10, 25 and the 100km badge.

Question: If you use meetup to join a world, do you have to look at a “waiting for people” or whatever that message is in yellow above your avatar for the whole time? I did that once, and it was annoying.

Probably not until the last few days of March.

But you can ride that route any day, with the workout hack. Just pretend you’re doing a workout, then choose the PRL Full as the route to ride. When Zwift drops you into London, exit the workout and ride the route as usual.
