SISU Announces Two New Race Series: iTT and Climb

SISU Racing took the months of November and December to pilot two separate race series concepts. After working out the niggles and fine-tuning the schedule, they’ve just announced the SISU iTT and SISU Climb race series, beginning in January!

SISU iTT

You, your TT bike, and a race against the clock! Fresh routes every week, available in eight time zones (midweek thru weekend)

SISU iTT event times across various timezones

Each week is a stand-alone race. There is also a monthly GC classification on ZwiftPower for racers who complete all races (see January GC).

SISU iTT Schedule

More SISU iTT Info

  • Category enforcement will be used.
  • TT bikes – all riders will be visible on the course without a draft.
  • Riders on ZPower or without heart rate data will be removed from the results.
  • Open event with separate results for Women and Men.
  • Should a rider race in multiple zones, their best time will count.
  • Completing the race unlocks the SISU Racing kit.

SISU Climb

Race routes that go up up up! Every weekend, in six time zones.

Each week is a stand-alone race. There is also a monthly GC classification on ZwiftPower for racers who complete all races (see January GC).

SISU Climb Schedule

Each month the series concludes with a ‘Monument Stage’ on a route that, for very good reason, is the least ridden!

Do the iTT events use a staggered or mass start?

The pilot events for the TT were staggered starts. It was a good series and enjoyed having series rankings, it made me keep going back for more.

Sorry to be picky, but the phasing of ‘Riders on ZPower or without heart rate data will be removed from the results’ could easily be understood that if you’re on ZPower you will be removed from the results’. Maybe ‘Riders need to be signed up to ZPower and need heart rate data to be included in final results’ is a little clearer. I know a lot of people know what is meant, but there are a lot of new faces on here as well.

ZPower isn’t Zwift Power.

Zpower is an estimated power, for those that have dumb trainers and/or no power meter. Must have an actual power source or else you’ll be removed.

But you’re also right, you need to be registered on Zwift Power (the site) as well, if you want to be ranked
