Zwift just launched their Big Weekend Sale event, featuring the first-ever discount on the new Zwift Ride V2. The sale begins today and runs through Monday, September 28. (And before any of you long-suffering Canadians comment about not being able to get a Zwift Ride shipped affordably… scroll down for good news!)
Zwift Ride V2 – First Time Sale
With a strong feature set paired with pricing well below other smart bikes, the Zwift Ride has been the best deal going since it launched in the summer of 2024. (My educated guess is that Zwift has sold over 100,000 units thus far. But don’t quote me on that.) Just 2 weeks ago, Zwift began shipping the new Zwift Ride V2, which features several iterative improvements so it’s more adjustable and accommodating to a wider range of riders (read about exactly what changed in this post).
For the next few days, riders can pick up the Zwift Ride V2 + Wahoo KICKR CORE 2 package for just $999.99/€999.99/£899.99. That’s a huge discount off the regular price, especially for Zwifters in the US:
- US $999.99 / $300 (23%) discount Shop Now >
- EU €999.99 / €200 (18%) discount Shop Now >
- UK £899.99 / £200 (16%) discount Shop Now >
Zwift Cog and Click – 75% Off

Zwift’s Cog and Click Upgrade Kit is normally priced at an affordable $50 US, but it’s now on sale for just $12.50. Clearly, Zwift wants everyone to try virtual shifting!
If you’ve got a trainer that supports virtual shifting, but don’t yet have the Cog to replace your cassette or the Clicks to do the shifting… it may be time to give it a try!

Oh Canada… Good News For You!

The good folks at WTRL, organizers of Zwift Racing League and WTRL TTT, have been working with Zwift for months to build the infrastructure to stock and sell the Zwift Ride in Canada. And it’s finally happening!
Pre-orders are now open to purchase the Zwift Ride V2 + KICKR CORE 2 bundle ($2,099 CAD) and the Zwift Ride V2 frame ($1,250 CAD). You can even buy the frame with a different trainer, including the Wahoo KICKR v6, Tacx NEO 2T, and JetBlack Victory.

(Tip: change your currency to CAD $ | Canada in the top-right to see the Zwift Ride V2 options)
(While Wahoo has been selling both of these items for quite some time to Canada – and they sell the frame for $1,200 CAD – Wahoo charges $275 CAD to ship either item, while WTRL ships free, at least to the Canadian addresses we tested. Additionally, it appears sales tax is a bit lower through WTRL. So there’s significant net savings when buying from WTRL vs Wahoo, even if the price is higher in Canada than in the US, UK, and EU.)
A final note: the shopping links in this post are affiliate links, so when you shop through them, Zwift Insider earns an affiliate commission. Thanks in advance for your support!

Was hoping to see the frame only go on sale. Will need to check back near Black Friday I guess.
The frame goes on sale very rarely.
shame.. will wait it out..
I don’t understand why that is the case. It seems like the set goes on sale every few months, but the frame has only gone on sale what, once? I’m sure there are lots of us who already have a Kickr or other compatible smart trainer that would love to swap out their bike for the V2 frame during one of these sales. Like the others, I will hope for a Black Friday sale.
I think their logic is probably pretty simple: purchase a zwift ride frame alone -> you have a trainer already -> you are probably already a zwift user -> other than selling another frame (at a loss?) they don’t gain much from selling to you at a discount.
buying a trainer and a zwift ride -> you are probably new to indoor training -> zwift gets all their future subscription revenue and brings in a new customer.
waiting for same .. it did go on sale last spring
I think you’ve made a mistake here. The Zwift Ride has been available in Canada for a long time through wahoo’s website. The problem was the that price was super expensive and it was usually better to order from the USA and deal with the shipping/taxes. You even covered this https://zwiftinsider.com/zwift-ride-shipping/ and zwifts press release https://news.zwift.com/en-WW/238161-ready-to-ride-whenever-you-are-zwift-ride-reimagines-the-indoor-smart-bike/
And it seems that price is still the same problem. So nothing has changed except you can order from WTRL if you don’t want to order from wahoo.
For example, zwift ride + kickr core is CAD$2100. If you convert the sale price from USD$1000 to CAD$1411. CAD$700 more! Since canada doesn’t have the sale let’s convert the USD$1300 regular price to CAD$1834, still CAD$266 more!
The difference that WTRL seems to be that the taxes and shipping is much lower than wahoo.
Apologies – I worded things unclearly. What I MEANT to say was something more like “Canadians have complained they can’t get a Zwift Ride because they’re priced too high, but now there’s a cheaper option.”
I’ve edited the text for clarity.
Still trying to figure out why it is that Zwift and Eric Min have a hate on for Canada 😉 . $700 premium vs US is pretty gross.
As someone who already owns the Wahoo Kicker Core 2 but is using it with an outdoor bike, it sure would be nice if they also included a discount option on just the Zwift Ride V2 frame, instead of only discounting the frame + training bundle.
Any inside information about whether they’ll ever consider/do that? Otherwise that JetBlack VICTORY Frame is looking much more enticing…
Kickr Core for $200…heck of a deal. If just the bike was available for, say, $599…I might have to jump in. But I have a fairly new KickrV6 so do not need the Core.
Honestly, the JetBlack standalone unit seems like a much better deal.
I like the standard handle bars and BB. Lots of options there.
“You can even buy the frame with a different trainer, including the Wahoo KICKR v6, Tacx NEO 2T, Tacx NEO 3M, and JetBlack Victory.”
My understanding is the Zwift Ride and 3M are not compatible, not because of motion but because of clearance issues. Is that mistaken?
No, you are correct. WTRL had that bundle option listed in error (reached out to them to confirm this). I just removed the 3M from the text above.
With the Click being less than $13, one has to wonder if Zwift is dumping inventory to make room for a newer version?
I wish my dopey Saris H3 trainer was Click compatible as that price is too good to pass-up.
