“Four By Four” ZRacing Series Announced for May 2026

Zwift’s “ZRacing” is the platform’s most popular ongoing race series, and in May, riders are being given several race format options to choose from.

Each week’s stage has races in four formats (ZRacing, Crit Club, Epic Race, and TT). Completing any of the four formats earns you an XP bonus and credit for the stage.

New Racing Profile Page

Zwift is launching a new “Racing Profile Page” today at zwift.com. This brings all your Zwift race results together in one place, making it easier to track performance, racing score changes, etc:

Your profile will be available at zwift.com/racing/me at 8am Pacific April 30, if all goes as planned. Zwift is still actively working on this page, with iterative improvements planned. Be sure to post your feedback on the Zwift forum topic (link incoming) so your input can help this feature evolve in the right direction.

XP Bonuses

You can earn up to 1500 XP in this 4-stage series:

  • 1 Stage = 1000 XP
  • 2 Stages = 300 XP
  • 3 Stages = 100 XP
  • 4 Stages = 100 XP

Earn these bonuses by completing any type of race for each stage. (You can mix and match between ZRacing, Crit Club, Epic, and TT races.)

GC Leaderboards

Zwift’s web-based leaderboards will be used for tracking the monthly GC competition for the ZRacing portion of this series.

Access the ZRacing leaderboards at zwift.com/racing/leagues/fourbyfour2026 >

Your GC ranking is based on your best finishing time for each stage, and you can race each stage more than once to try for a better time.

Category Options

Zwift schedules three different flavors of ZRacing events in order to encourage “Fairer, more competitive racing for everyone.” They each use different racing score ranges for categorization and are titled Advanced, Range 1, and Range 2. Click banners below to see upcoming events for each:

Should be extra XP for doing 5-16 stages

You only need to do 1 stage per week. At this time of year a 16 stage commitment might have been a bit much to ram into 4 weeks.

I honestly think they’re backwards. The XP bonus should increase as you progress. Not decrease. I can guarantee you alot of people are going to do 1 race and will be skipping the rest.

It should be
250xp 1 race
500xp 2 races
750xp 3 races
1,000xp 4 races
Don’t know who at Zwift switched it up but I feel like that’s how it used to be.

Introduce new people to racing and encourage others to give it a try once again. I know it worked for me.

Would be nice to have a (working) link to the GC leaderboards on this new racing profile page. It’s always hard to get to them via the race’s event feed results and almost impossible to find it on a mobile browser. But I guess this is something for the Zwift forum. On the other hand, this new racing profile page is a welcome addition.

BTW the link to the zracing leaderboards that Eric has posted only shows my 2025 results. Does anyone else have this problem?

GC would be hard because each stage has 4 options. Is option a in stage 1 the same as option b in stage 1 …. So then I do option b in stage 2 against another GC contender that does option a in stage 2 ….. But I like the idea. I like this 4 by 4 set up because I may prefer Epic but have never done Crit. I might like Crit style. Options create value!

The zwift results page has quite a way to go before its near to replacement for zp.

XP bonuses on the busiest races on zwift is also a bit meh. Would prefer to see zwift try to promote other events. I guess if it helps people try out racing fair enough but the first time experience for a racer in zracing is usually pretty poor.

We’ve been doing XP for completing stages in ZRacing since about December (it might have been the one before that). I’d argue that the experience for a first time racer in ZRacing is likely to be a better one than most other events.

Better in zRacing doesn’t mean it’s good, that’s a low bar when many other events are absolutely not designed for beginner racers. And the experience in those events specifically designed for beginners is much better than in zRacing.

Yes! More “epic” races please. *I don’t think a 1-1.5 hour race should be called epic but this is where we are on zwift for some reason.

Nevermind, my enthusiasm has quickly been thwarted, seeing that there are very few time slots for the epic races, and none being offered in the evening timeslot PST.

Love to see that plenty people are going to try to go for the 16 races. The question is.. what’s the right order for each week? Crit or Epic first?.. 2 back to back, rest 1 day, then 2 and rest again?

For me @ 53 yrs. and riding 10 hrs./wk., producing four race quality efforts in seven days for four weeks straight isn’t realistic, but I probably could have done it in my 20s. I think the best order for a person probably depends on their specific strengths and weaknesses. For me, the crit would be the easiest to recover from so I would do that first. Then zrace, rest, epic, TT, rest, rest. The TT would be the hardest for me to recover from, so I would do that last and then have two rest days before I started the cycle again.

Will there be a gc for the other 3 events at any point? I’m sure they’ll be on Zwift power, but it would be nice having it all on Zwift profile page.

It strikes me odd that they’re pushing 4 races a week when participation starts to dwindle due to better outdoor whether. I will be shocked if the fields aren’t on the small side.

Just went to look at times for the Crit racing series and it is really weird sometimes 1 hour gap then other time slots 2-3 hours apart, Looks like I wont be do the crit series as it is either when I pick up kids from school then nothing till I am eating dinner with the kids. Why isn’t it every hour like the Zracing. All 4 should be every hour.

Can I do more than 1 race per week and will that change my stats ie best result stands

Jh12

Personally I think it would have been better to do one race format per week. With 4 races happening almost simultaneously, participation will be split between them, resulting in fewer riders per race. Also, correct me if i’m wrong, it seems that the GC leaderboard is only for the original series, which gives us less reason to try the others – especially now that we are busy with outdoor activities.

Do all 4 formats contribute to the racing score or only the ZRacing?

The values in “Score – Change” column are very confusing. Seemingly it shows the difference in the racing score after a given race, and some other randomly choosen race on the same page.

Would really expect to see the change form the previous ranking there instead.

Great to have different format races more frequently but number of participants in each race seems to be lower. Could be seasonal or due to increase in number of races. Just an observation.
