Zwift version 1.119 begins its phased rollout today. This minor update includes a flashy new bike, more route badges for runners, and various minor tweaks and fixes. Read on for details!
New Bike: Canyon Aeroad CFR CANYON//SRAM
This release includes a new Canyon Aeroad with a sweet Canyon//SRAM paintjob:

This frame performs exactly the same as the Canyon Aeroad CFR Alpecin Premier-Tech released last month… meaning it’s quite fast! Rated 3 stars for aero and 4 stars for weight, it’s available at level 30 for 1,750,000 Drops just like the Alpecin Premier-Tech version.
Route Changes for Runners
Most routes on Zwift don’t award a completion badge (and bonus XP) to runners. Zwift is working to change that, though, starting with this update. Once you’ve installed version 1.119, the following routes will have achievement badges and XP available for runners:
- Mountain Mash (230 XP)
- Two Bridges Loop (280 XP)
- Volcano Circuit (160 XP)
- Volcano Circuit CCW (160 XP)
- Oh Hill No (320 XP)
- Temple Trek (256 XP)
The following routes are no longer available for runners and are now cycling-only, presumably because of their length:
Opened Routes
Not included in Zwift’s release notes, but included in this update: the three event-only routes launched in the recent Paris expansion are now open for free riding. Those routes are:
Release Notes
Zwift supplied these additional release notes:
- Fixed an issue that could potentially cause Power Bests shown in the post-ride Progress Report to be inconsistent across multiple activities.
- Improved the accuracy of estimated route completion times for routes that feature climbs.
- Fixed an issue that could cause Zwifters to not receive the correct amount of Drops after completing the Indoor Outdoor Challenge.
- Android: Improved Android graphics and texture quality, improving the clarity of kits, accessories, bikes, and terrain.
- iOS, Android: Fixed an issue that could cause settings sliders to not be draggable on touch screen devices.
- iOS/tvOS: Increased the minimum required iOS/tvOS versions to 15.0 (released in 2021) which affects a very small population of Zwifters.

Would love for these frame paintjobs also be accesable apart if you already have the exact same frame.
Certainly now with the upgrades it isnt worth it to buy another frame that performs exactly the same but needs 1.9M drops to upgrade.
My thoughts exactly.
Especially now that there are six options for the Aeroad.
Indeed. I bought the Apecin one so no matter how much I like this paintjob, there is no way that I am going to spend 3.6M drops to get an identical Frame which I than have to upgrade for god knows how many kilometers.
If the paintjob was available for lets say 250k drops I would click buy in a second.
Thankyou Stoneway Sprint
Scott, totally correct!
In March lots of new things were announced. What new is coming this fall? Any clue on the fall workout series?
I bet we’ll see a new “This Season on Zwift” from ZHQ around the end of August/early September. That’s what they’ve done for the last 2-3 years…
Hmmm, I hope my aging tablet can keep up with some graphical improvements. Fingers crossed.
Looks like Duck-Duck-Go didn’t like something.Might want to look at page coding.
Probably the WordPress errors that were showing up on this page yesterday. All fixed now.
It seems like La Boucle and Double Espresso are no longer Event Only, but I can’t see this in the release notes.
You are correct! Crepe Escape too. Added above.
Fun paint job! Look forward to seeing one in the peloton in game to see how it looks on my screen. Ditto thoughts of others, I don’t have the drops to buy it myself with other new bikes I’m currently working on; makes perfect sense if you already own the frame you should just have to pay a smaller fee for a new paint job; just like IRL
My app just updated, and the Canyon Speedmax CFR TT bike that I bought in mid-july and have 1 upgrade on, is suddenly missing from my garage. It shows as available for purchase in the drop shop. Anybody else experienced this?
I wonder if those faulty Power Best numbers are the reason my best 5 second power now shows as 635. I’ve never hit 635 in my life. Hell, I have yet to bust 500 watts for even 1 second. I know what it was that caused it and I was able to use the Fit File Fixer and correct the Strava entry, but I’m stuck with it on Zwift.
