Bike Selection

Most of this route is flat, and the two climbs are quite slack, so aero still rules the day. Get the most slippery frame and wheels you can afford!

Route Description

We begin from the Harbor start pen with a lead-in to the Alley Sprint arch, which serves as the route’s official start and finish line. (The first ~19km of this route are in Neokyo.)

You’ll ride over to the Tower Sprint next, then around through the Arcade before heading up to the second level to launch into the Rooftop KOM, our first climb of the day.

Then it’s a descent from the Rooftop and back to ground level to head back through the Arcade and out the tunnel into the countryside, hanging a left to head down the Slot Canyon into Urukazi. This is a pleasant and scenic descent, so enjoy the sights!

After hitting the flat beach of Urukazi, you’ll head over to Mech Isle for the corkscrew climb, then descend and cross over to Festival Harbor for the flat and fast Boardwalk Sprint. We don’t stay in Urukazi long, though… come back across through the flat side of Mangrove Maze, and take a deep breath. You’ve got one final uphill push through Pain Cavern, and once you’re at the top, there’s just one flat kilometer to go!

The finish takes you back into Neokyo for a final Alley Sprint effort. Give it all you’ve got to the line. Allez allez!
