    Zwift Grand Prix Tomorrow: Team Elimination Omnium Details

    Tomorrow (Friday) at 7pm UTC the Zwift Grand Prix’s penultimate round kicks off with the men’s teams racing the Team Elimination Omnium. Women will race the same format next Friday.

    After four rounds, here are the men’s overall standings:

    The Team Elimination Omnium contains three points races, where the field is reduced in each race. Race 1 has 60 riders, race 2 has 30, and race 3 has 12.

    Riders who continue on to the next race earn the chance to grab more points for their team, and the team with the most points earned across the three races is the winner on the day.

    Race Details

    Race 1: Bridges and Boardwalks (Makuri Islands)

    • Points Race
    • Racers: 60 (5 per team)
    • Distance: 2 laps (14.5km, 120m)
    • Points
      • First 6 riders across Boardwalk Sprint: 60, 50, 40, 30, 20, 10 points
      • Increments of 1 point per place at finish line (60, 59, 58… 1)
    • Powerups: Burrito, Draft Boost

    Race 2: Island Hopper (Makuri Islands)

    • Points Race
    • Racers: 30 (top 30 from race 1)
    • Distance: 1 lap (15.7km, 128m)
    • Points and Elimination Sprints
      • Boardwalk Sprint: top 3 get 60, 58, 56 points, progress to race 3 and stop racing
      • Tidepool Sprint: top 3 get 54, 52, 50 points, progress to race 3 and stop racing
      • Shisha Sprint: top 3 get 48, 46, 44 points, progress to race 3 and stop racing
      • Finish Line: top 3 get 42, 40, 38 points and progress to race 3
        • 4th place to 30th get points (36, 34, 32… down to 2) but do not progress to race 3
    • Powerups: Invisibility, Burrito

    Race 3: Innsbruck Continental Hill Climb

    • Points Race
    • Racers: 12
    • Distance: 1 lap (12.9km, 480m)
    • Points
      • Finish Line: 1st-12th awarded 60, 55, 50… 5 points
    • Powerups: Feather

    Note: total race points will accrue across the 3 races and series points will be awarded according to each team’s final points tally.
