Route Description

Route profile by ZwiftHub – the place to plan and track your route achievements!

Riders begin in the Neokyo Harbor start pens, heading straight through the market to the Alley Sprint. Then it’s across to the Tower Sprint before a loop around to head into Pain Cavern on our way to Urukazi.

We still aren’t sure how the harbor in Neokyo is ~55 meters higher in elevation than Urukazi’s Festival Harbor when both are on the same ocean… but this is virtual cycling, and cyclists never complain about downhills.

The long descent through Pain Cavern (don’t worry, it’s only painful in the other direction) brings us to Urukazi, where we’ll cross a small land bridge to Mech Isle on our way to the one climb on this route. This climb is a punchy little dirt corkscrew where you’ll need to push hard to hold onto the front of the race!

You’ll descend straight down the other side of the corkscrew, then it’s a flat ride to the finish at the Boardwalk Sprint arch.

I rode it two times. There was no achievement badge. Neither the message route completed.

Did you ride two Zwift Games 2025 events, or just manually do it as a free ride? It’s an event only route so unless you ride it as part of an event it doesn’t count as completing the route, no badge, and no points as a result.

A 10 mile route that does not loop. Who thought this was a good idea?

It’s madness.

I don’t know why the 4 thumbs-down for this. This is barely long enough for a 30-minute event. Group rides will never use this route because the groups always end up in complete disarray when the route ends before the ride time/distance is done.

It’s for a sprint race – it doesn’t need to be a loop

Group rides aren’t the only thing people do. There’s over 180 different routes in Zwift – they don’t all need to be suitable for the same thing, just like in the Tour de France you don’t have 21 stages with identical profiles.

The thumbs are probably the equivalent of laughing at some guy needing to complain for some reason about a route not looping.

Well, he is entitled to comment, isn’t he. It is a valid comment whether we agree with it or not.

Yes, he is entitled to comment. And people are entitled to give it a thumbs down if they think it’s a silly comment. 🤷

The level of pettiness, even among adult cyclists, is mind boggling. On other news, I just changed the pads on my rim brakes.

Should have been made a tiny bit longer and setup as a 10 mile TT for Zwift Games. 😉

I have to say, the ZG 2025 courses are a little underwhelming… they’re mainly on the short side.

You need to come to point and accept that the average zwifter person is just there for social contact and attention. Putting forth even the slightest bit of effort is asking to much. Now there are excepts to that, but like finding a needle in a haystack, good luck with that. If you doubt me, just look at the crybabies in the comments and during an event. ” I signed up for a workout and I am getting one! Life is so unfair to me”

First ZG on Zwift so decided to use this challenge in my Fondi workout plan. Enjoyed the ride, but was a little slow off the start with my aero bike.

On zwiftpower, it says it is alley reverse and tidepool reverse. It didn’t show tower or boardwalk sprints, but they recorded in ride and on strava. I’m just a little confused.

Working on the route chaser challenge. For some reason makuri madness will not load. Have tried twice. All the other routes are fine
