Route Description

You’ll begin at the Normandy start pens, heading onto the newer cobbles to take on the long, uphill Dos d’Âne Sprint Reverse that marks the end of the lead-in and the start/finish of this route.
At the next intersection, turn left onto the rolling, sweeping road that brings you to the Ballon Sprint. Stay left at the next intersection to head toward the short Aqueduc KOM which is quickly followed by the Pavé Sprint, then enjoy the sunflowers as you head back toward the Normandy section and retrace some of your lead-in.
You’ll pass the start pens, then turn left onto more new road, hitting the short Sprinteur and Sprint du Cratère Reverse sprints before turning right onto Les Intestins. This twisty road includes three sneaky rises, making it a great place to attack in a race, especially if you’ve got steering enabled!
Right at the next intersection brings you into the marina area and onto the Marina Sprint Reverse. Continue out to the mysterious Brittany portion of France with its lighthouse and Carnac stones, then turn right to once again take on the Sprinteur and Sprint du Cratère Reverse sprints. Left at the next intersection will bring you back onto the roads of the Ballon Sprint, then a right at the next intersection places you up at the base of this route’s biggest climb: the Petit KOM.
This is where the main selections will happen in a race, so be ready to go all-in to hold the best position possible. (Just keep telling yourself: recovery is just up the road on the long descent following the KOM.)
You’ll stay on the outer roads of France for a bit now, going through the Marina Sprint Reverse once more and passing the Normandy start pens again. Then it’s a right turn onto the new cobbles to finish the route on the Dos d’Âne Sprint Reverse.
