“Cobbled Crown” Route Details (Richmond)
Launching with Zwift Games 2026, this route is a new twist on Richmond’s classic 2015 Worlds Course. It duplicates nearly all of that route, but adds a lumpy lead-in over the reverse climbs section.Â

Route Description
We begin in the reverse direction, descending Governor Street from the start pens, then climbing the 23rd St and Libby Hill Reverse KOMs in quick succession.
The last draggy climb up Main Street to Broad Street finishes out the lumpy start to this course, and delivers us to a spot on Broad Street that’s less than half a kilometer into the flat start of Richmond’s original 2015 Worlds Course. From here on out, we’ll follow the 2015 Worlds Course to its finish line.
So Cobbled Crown is really just the 2015 Worlds Course with a lumpy, triple-climb lead-in.
From this point, riders are taken onto Monument Avenue for Richmond’s signature sprint, then back to Broad Street for another sprint before descending Main St and retracing the lead-in in reverse.
That means climbing up Libby Hill in the forward direction, then 23rd St soon after, and finally up Governor Street. The straight-line finish is a false flat that always feels extra long, and often rewards patient racers. Good luck!
