Notes:
- Specialized Tarmac can only be earned by finishing the Ride California challenge
- Pinarello F8 can only be earned by finishing the Tour Italy challenge
- Trek Emonda can only be earned by finishing the Climb Mt. Everest challenge
- Zwift Carbon, Mountain, and TT bikes are given to all riders
- Concept 1 (Tron) bike can only be earned by climbing. A lot.
- Canyon Aeroad is no longer available for purchase in the Drop Shop, having been replaced by the Aeroad 2021.
Some great bikes here! Any chance of seeing Bianchi added to the list?! … The Aria specifically, but also the Oltre XR4 and the Aquila!! 🙂
I’d love to see some Bianchis, but that’s up to Zwift! I’m not sure how they decide which bikes to have in game…
How about a Brompton? Would love to ride one around London!
That is an annoyingly good suggestion.
Hallo
Pascal
Das sind die Räder, die du schon hast – die anderen musst du erst kaufen (im Drop-Shop)!
Wish Wilier Cento series as frame
Im trying to get on a TCR Advanced Sl it says i need to be at level 8 but im at level 17 and i dont see it as an option?
I love Zwift! Especially since I use a projector which projects the virtual riding world on my entire wall. That and a Tacx Neo2t and I’m in heaven riding indoors. Thank you Zwift and please keep coming up with more new exciting routes and challenges. 😁👍
Can we see some Argon 18 and Boardman bikes please, often ridden by the pro’s and the new Australian team pursuit bike is the coolest aero bike you’ll ever see…come on Zwift.
How do I know if I can change the color of the bike before I buy it
You don’t, unfortunately!
Eric,
Is the Specialized SL7 going to be in the drop shop after the Seven Days of Tarmac SL7 event? Wonder how many drops it will cost. I got a cool 1 million drops most of which was going toward a Trek Madone but now I am wondering if I should hold.
By the way, what’s up with Monica’s hip? I saw she rode a couple of times with mention of hip issues. After her huge success with “Coach Potato to Course Hero” I hate to hear she is injured.
SL7 will be in the Drop Shop, yes. I think next week!
Monica’s had some struggles since her route hero quest! Her hip was hurting and she had to take it easy for a while. Then she’s been down and sick for a couple weeks.
She’s pining for the bike though, so that’s a good sign!
SL7 is Level 5, price 674,500
Hey Eric,
have you had a chance to test the new Canyon Aeroad 2021 model that’s available in the drop shop? It seems like a good climbing bike, perhaps faster than Tarmac Pro?!
Also, the DT Swiss wheel set? Thoughts on that?
thank you!
Never gonna happen, but I’d LOVE to see Independent Fabrication SSR, Condor and/or Bob Jackson frames
how to get a new bike in Zwift
Hi, it looks like the Tour of Italy link doesn’t work.
Fixed, thanks!
Small mistake, Canyon Aeroad 2021 is 3 stars in both aero and weight
Good catch! It used to be 3/4, but Zwift revised it recently apparently.
The Zwift MTB is ranked 3 aero and 1 weight. All the other MTBs are ranked 1, 1. Does that mean the standard issue Zwift bike is better than anything I can buy? Especially for descending from the rope bridge on the Jungle Loop? What am going to do with all my drops?
Just fixed. MTB was 3/1 when originally released, but Zwift updated it to 1/1 and this table didn’t get updated.
Strange how they’ve classified the Canyon Speedmax as 1/1 when the standard one is 4/1. Something’s wrong there methinks. Also, Bianchi would be nice to see – though I suppose the bikes are dependant on the trade deals Zwift make with the manufacturers. As an aside, that Legion LA kit would be nice too.
Speedmax’s aero setting is an error on Zwift’s part. Should be fixed in the next update.
My advise to new Zwifters based on my own “mistakes”. First read Zwift Insider. This is the best source of information. Next, I ended up “buying” Tarmac Pro, then shortly thereafter I automatically got Trek Emonda “free” for completing the Mt. Everest ~9000 m challenge. I am just a sub-D rider doing 80-100w (1.0-1.2 w/kg) and in about a 1.5 month 2h/day I climbed 9000m (that’s after 2000 m when I did not know about that challenge), not a huge hurdle by any means. Both Tarmac and Emonda are equivalent frames. So, if I were to start over again, I’d… Read more »
They should add De Rosa and Bianchi asap….
