There’s a big (mini) women’s race this weekend, plus the final stage of Tour of Watopia, Zwift World Series race 4, and some epic endurance rides. See our picks below!
🥇 The Ultimate Women’s Mini Races – Flat Out!
✅ Women Only ✅ Unique Event ✅ Popular Race
Along the lines of our popular Tiny Races, eSRT has created a monthly set of mini races just for the ladies. And they’ve got a pile of signups already!
eSRT has put their own twist on these events, making them slightly longer than the Tinies, and having all racers start together, with each category wearing their own jersey so you know who you’re competing against.
The mass start means you’ll always have someone to ride with, and it adds an element of strategic decision-making. Be sure to sign up for all three races, and read the event details! You’ll be done within the hour.

🤝Team Velos – Route Bagger Challenge (Navig8)
✅ Route Badge ✅ Beginner Friendly
Some of Zwift’s route badges feature longish routes, and it’s a lot more fun to finish these routes with friends! Team Velos holds a monthly Route Bagger Challenge ride to help you “tackle the hardest Zwift routes.”
This Saturday’s ride features Watopia’s newish Navig8 route (66.1km, 423m). The leader will set a steady pace around 1.9-2.1w/kg.

🥇Zwift World Series Race 4 – Shisa Shakedown
✅ Route Badge ✅ Popular Race
The fourth race of the Zwift World Series happens this Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. It’s the community edition of the race, so anyone can join, and it’s racers’ first chance to take on the new Shisa Shakedown course (53.3km, 557m).

🤝 3R Endurance Steady Ride
✅ Base Training ✅ Legacy Leaders
For those who fancy an endurance ride, 3R hosts several each weekend. This particular timeslot is their most popular, and you can expect a well-led and well-supported group ride with an excellent team of leaders and sweepers present.
This is really like three different group rides, because there are three pace categories to choose from, and each group has its own route. This week category B will ride The Uber Pretzel (128.8km, 2381m) with a pace of 3 w/kg, C will ride Waisted 8 for 100km at 2.5 w/kg, and E will ride The Mega Pretzel (111km, 1659m) at 2.2-2.8 w/kg.

How We Make Our Picks
We choose each weekend’s Notable Events based on a variety of factors including:
- Is the event unique/innovative in some way?
- Are celebrities (pro riders, etc) attending/leading?
- Are signup counts already high, meaning the event is extra-popular?
- Does the ride include desirable unlocks or prizes?
- Does the event appeal to ladies on Zwift? (We like to support this under-represented group!)
- Is it for a good cause?
- Is it just plain crazy (extra long races, world record attempts, etc)?
- Is it a long-running, popular weekly event with a dedicated leader who deserves a shout out?
In the end, we want to call attention to events that are extra-special and therefore extra-appealing to Zwifters. If you think your event qualifies, comment below with a link/details and we may just include it in an upcoming post!
