“Wander Watopia” Mission Announced for October

Zwift has rolled out a fresh Mission for October, and it’s all about getting us to explore Watopia, Zwift’s main map. With new roads coming to Watopia in late October, it’s not surprising to see Zwift organizing lots of Watopia-focused content for the month. Let’s look at the details!

Note: signups opened this week, but the Mission doesn’t begin until October 2.

Getting Started

To begin the Mission, select the mission card on your homescreen and click to register:

Once you’ve registered, clicking the mission card will show your Mission progress.

Completing the Mission

To complete the mission and earn the achievement badge, complete three Watopia routes by November 5.

It would be great if Zwift launched misions/challenges to keep the stronger cyclists engaged. If you have reached level 60 and have all the achievement badges, there isn’t much, other than races to keep them engaged. Maybe some kind of monthly distance or climbing league?

Agreed, these missions seem a bit pointless as you could complete it in a day if you wanted to.

Not everybody is level 60 and a lot do not race. Zwift schedules something for everybody that likes to ride as well as race.

I agree. It’s just that every challenge is at an easier level. I think there should be a mix to include riders of all abilities. There should be something for everyone.
I have had to join another platform (as well as Zwift) as, otherwise, I am just riding with no purpose.
I’m not against challenges that encompasses everyone. There just needs to be something more for those that want it

Maybe they could do 4 levels, initiation with completing 3 routes. meidum with 10, expert with 20 and pro for those who completed all routes.

I think they could do something like a monthly badge if you complete a fondo, climb 2000M, and ride 1000km. Create three different color levels of accomplishment. There would only be one badge with the higher levels overlapping to show a shade of the lower level badges. Then at the end of the year, if you acheive all of the higher level goals, you can earn a tattoo on your virtual image!
