Zwift Update Version 1.91 (147909) Released

Zwift version 1.91 begins its phased rollout today. As far as we know, it’s really just a bug fix release. Here are the release notes from Zwift:

  • Improved display of your current Split (Lap Timer) after teleporting while using Pedal Assist.
  • Various visual improvements to roadways and bystanders in France.
  • Apple TV: Improved navigation of the Splits sidebar when using an Apple TV remote.
  • Windows & Android: Fixed a crash that could occur when opening Zwift.
  • Android: Fixed an issue that could prevent sending chat messages when in an event paddock.
  • General stability improvements.

So no fix yet for the streak bonus if your first ride of the week is outside and then you subsequently ride on Zwift in that week?

So I’m not the only one with that issue. It’s been a few weeks without that bonus. Compensating by riding laps on Oude Kwaremont, but at the same time realising XP is useless…

I had the same issue. Now I ride Monday indoors for a 30 min warm up then go outside. This gets me the 500 bonus xp.

So if the first ride of the week isn’t on Zwift you don’t get the streak bonus? But how does Zwift “know” that your first ride wasn’t on Zwift?

Check your companion app :0) if your account is connected with garmin or wahoo…

If you have connected Garmin or Wahoo to the Companion app, Zwift will know if you already had an outdoor ride this week. It won’t give a bonus for the outdoor riding, but it should’ve given a bonus for your first Zwift ride of the week. It doesn’t.

Is the battery symbol on the play controller pairing screen new? (ATV)

Is ZHQ moving to a 3-week release cycle? There’s been a few of those lately, and I imagine there’s some efficiencies in extending the cycle by 50% especially if there aren’t any major features coming out. And if there’s something game-breaking they can still do an interim patch.

Once you pass level 100, you continue to collect XP as before.
Except that each ‘next level’ changes every 20,000 XP (as was the case when you advanced from 99 to 100lvl).

So when you have activity and accumulate XP over 100lvl then the moment Zwift introduces further levels (n[. up to 150lvl) then you will have a so-called ‘fast track promotion’ available to you depending on how much ‘excess over 100lvl’ XP you have.
This is how it always worked when Zwift introduced the next levels:
– 25 to 50,
– from 51 to 60,
– from 61 to 100.
In the latter case there was (since introduced) an adjustment after a while to increase the differences between levels from perhaps 85 to 100lvl.

When does the video “Coming this Fall to Zwift” get released?

At least there are some climbs coming out for the Tour de France thing.

When I ride the Grade or Road to Sky, used to be a past split side bar of my past efforts on each section. It was good measure of effort going up looking at each section . Now the new split bar is just current effort . And you have to manually press while u are riding. Will the old split feature ever come back ? Miss it alot .

Any idea if Zwift will ever enable ultra or high graphics on the M4 IPad Pro’s? Or shall I just bite the bullet and buy a Mac Mini M4? Tried asking on the Zwift forums but no reply.

Cheers

Only did a few short bike rides on Monday, recorded with apple watch so it doesn’t sync to zwift. Saved bonus for Tuesday morning zwift ride.

Really wish they would let us disable steering too. It’s been a major pain for me, keeping having issues with it with my Play Controllers.

I pair both of mine, but once I start riding I power off the left controller, this disables steering but allows me to ride-on bomb and activate power-ups from the controller

Eric, can you clarify when the L/R pedal balance and CORE temperature sensor support will be available in Zwift? Zwift officially announced these features for this sprint in “This Season on Zwift,” and you’ve previously written about them, but there’s been no update or release. Are users being left in the dark, or is there a delay we should know about?

I have apple TV, however I could never get the video clip to show despite updating every new upgrade. Maybe it’s something I’m doing wrong , or I have the wrong apple tv setup
