“The Watopia 150!” Route Details (Watopia)
We can all agree this is more than a bit crazy, right? It’s like a drawn-out Cirque du Suffer. 30 laps of the expansion’s “Power Islands” section, which has its own “Lightning Lap” segment. And 0 elevation across 150 km? Move over, Tempus Fugit. There’s a new flat route in town.

Route Description
Starting from the Seafoam start pens, you’ll travel over to the lightning bolt-shaped circuit, where you’ll be spending the next several hours. Once you go through the lap arch, the count begins. You’ve got 30 Lightning Laps to ride, and the lap counter just after the arch helps you keep track.
In terms of gradient, this is the least interesting circuit on Zwift because it’s pan-flat. And we’re not talking Tempus Fugit flat – that route has 26 meters of elevation gain per lap, after all. We’re talking Lightning Lap flat, which means zero meters of elevation gainedacross the full 150km. Amazing!
Zwift’s art team did their best to make this route more engaging via the visuals. You’ll pass some fun flowers, a bridge, and there’s even rumor of a breaching whale near the lap arch, although we haven’t figured out when that happens yet.
There are also some rumors of new power segments coming to this circuit, but we’ll have to wait a bit to see what Zwift has planned in that regard.
