“Neon Flats” Route Details (Makuri Islands)

Animated “Neon Flats” Route Details (Makuri Islands) Map
Animated map provided by ZwiftHacks

Introduced in Zwift’s November 2021 update, Neon Flats is one of the flattest Neokyo routes around. (Oddly enough, it’s not the flattest – that award goes to Sleepless City.) This is a great route if you’re looking for something flat and fast, with sprint segments to contest.

Route Description

Route profile by ZwiftHub – the place to plan and track your route achievements!

Begin near the Arcade paddocks, then head past the brightly-lit trucks under The Overpass and down Holo Avenue before turning right and taking on your first sprint, the Tower Sprint (so named because it takes you past the Makuri Tower).

Then it’s back under The Overpass to the Alley Sprint Reverse then quickly into Castle Park, where you’ll take on the Castle Park Sprint. Whew… are you tired yet?

Catch your breath as you ride along the Canal and Neokyo Bay, but get ready – you’re turning left once more into Castle Park for another go at the sprint!

That’s four sprints done. Now all that’s left is to spin those legs out down Holo Avenue, through the Arcade, and through the virtual lap banner. That’s a wrap!

Trivia time! How many other official routes hit the same segment multiple times in a single lap? I can think of at least two…
