“London Uprising” Route Details (London)
Released as a route for Zwift Games 2025, London Uprising starts and ends with select climbs up Fox and Box Hills, respectively.
Here’s an interesting bit of Zwift trivia: this route is actually fully contained in the much longer London Pretzel, meaning many Zwifters will have completed the Strava segment several years before it became an official Zwift route.

Route Description

Route profile by ZwiftHub – the place to plan and track your route achievements!
This point-to-point route begins at the Tower Bridge near the London start pens, heading across the bridge and down into The Underground before hitting the first of two key climbs: Fox Hill.
Once you’ve finished that KOM segment you’ll descend Box Hill and head over to do a lap of the flat Classique loop, including a go at The Mall Sprint if you want to chase the green jersey.
Hang a right and pass Big Ben to begin retracing your steps in the final 5km of the route. You’ll ride through The Underground then head up Box Hill, which is the finishing climb for the route.
(Once you ride through the KOM banner at the top the route is complete, but any true cyclist will want to put in a few more pedal strokes and enjoy the descent that follows!)

I selected this route from the special “Route Chaser: Zwift Games” menu, then rode it. When I crossed the finish, there was no route completion pop-up, and afterward, the special menu still showed 0/5 routes completed (nothing on Strava, either). Comparing the map above the what I actually rode, it appears that the auto-routing feature performs a left turn at Trafalgar Square (toward the sprint) instead of a right turn onto the Strand first. I don’t know if navigating that part manually will result in a completed route, but as of 18 Feb 2025, the auto-routing is incorrect.
Thank you, seems to be a problem with most of the new routes. Awaiting badge confirmation before riding them.
I’ve reported this to Zwift, and they’re looking into it…
From Zwift:
We’ve tested internally for these routes, including launching from the challenge card and free ride. So far it seems things are working as expecting for route completion, badge awards and no wrong turns being taken automatically.
There could still be something we’re missing of course, we’d love to be able to look at logs for users reporting the issue. Right now the best thing to do is to report to Zwift support, they will be able to award completion status for those users that completed but didn’t get the badge. This will also help us get logs so we can look closely at these sessions.
I’ve ridden it twice. It worked fine for me.
Hi Mike, we’re looking into reports of this at Zwift HQ. Would you be able to reach out to me at [email protected] so we can confirm your Zwift profile activity and get you credit for the route?
Attempting to do this one via a meetup this afternoon. If we don’t get credit I will report back and open a ticket with Zwift.
Thanks for all your info. This website has been a lifesaver! Which bike setup would be best for this route? Thanks
In a race, I’d go with a good all-arounder like the Pinarello Dogma F 2024 with ENVE 7.8 wheels.
Thanks so much! And thanks again for all the work you put into this site!
ZG 2025 are all bike and wheel neutralized from my understanding…
Yep!
Q:Â Does it matter what frame and wheels I use in Zwift Games events?
A:Â No, regardless of the frame or wheels you select in-game, they’ll all behave the same for Zwift Games events. This will ensure a level playing field for every racer regardless of their Zwift level.
