Route Description

Route profile by ZwiftHub – the place to plan and track your route achievements!

Here’s how Mark describes his route:

What do you get when you take messes of Esses and add in a ton of Titans? Danger Noodle! This route, with its snaking ups and downs and lefts and rights, provides plenty of opportunities for a breakaway to succeed.

The warm-up out of Downtown Watopia is the short, weaving rise and fall of The Esses. If you like them the first time, you get to see them again in reverse after you loop around the Italian Villas.

After zipping back through Downtown, the route takes a trip to Titans Grove where the real roller coaster ride begins. The wiggles and squiggles of the approach to the short Titans KOM Reverse will challenge riders to stay near the front. Or maybe that challenge is an opportunity for some team tactics?

The short, quick descent off the KOM is followed by more undulating serpentine roads, but Titans doesn’t stay in your rearview mirror for long because the route loops around the LAX roundabout and heads back to Titans Grove for a return trip up the other side of the KOM.

Roll, roll, roll some more, then a short climb and descent, followed by one last set of twisting humps and dips where you can decide how to attack the flat and fast Downtown Watopia finish.

Perhaps it’s from the “Don’t say the 1990’s ‘First Post’ phrase anymore” police.

Back then, there would be threads starting with “first post!” collision entries with no on-subject contribution.

But James made a joke out of it which could be been as a on-subject contribution. (Is this like getting a 57 mph ticket in a 55 mph zone?)

It will be added to the game shortly after the ZRL race, just like the other ones have been.

Seems like a really boring route to me but to each their I guess. Too bad Zwift doesn’t have a custom route builder, I would would know how to build a few fun ones like Quatch quest but up to radio tower, a loop in the Italian vilas, back up epic kom reverse to radio tower and from their back onto Quatch quest or a route that goes to radiotower from all 4 access routes (Itza, Epic, Epic Reverse and the grade)

You know you can just turn at the junctions like in the real world? Maybe a little clunky but fully functional.

My thoughts? In response to your papa Powell about West pop-ups because this is probably the fourth or the fifth one lol I’m trying to look at the map. Now I remember why I stopped using this website as much as I used to.
