Since their October launch, HoloReplays have become a popular Zwift feature. They can be used as a training tool for hill repeats or sprint intervals, or simply as a way to compete with your past self.
Zwift recently announced plans to expand HoloReplay’s capabilities substantially, making it possible to show HoloReplays on all routes in game.

What Isn’t Changing
As before, Zwifters will be able to replay their 90-day PR, last effort, both at the same time, or turn replays off. HoloReplays will still only show during Pacer Group rides and free rides, and all your segment and route activities are recorded except for group workouts, meetups, or other activities that have rubberbanding enabled.
So Many Routes!
Zwift has 168 rideable routes, but only 13 are holoreplayable at this time (see list under “Replayable Segments” here). With this change, any route you ride in game will be replayable.
Timing: Late January
Zwift says this feature is slated to release around a month from now, in late January 2023.

Anyone else experiencing a long wait time on the blue screen for route to load,I’m getting 4 min wait time
With each update it seems to take longer and longer to load a world on my PC. (What I find odd is that my old iPad loads it in seconds so it can’t be due to having to load GBs of data just bad coding I guess).
You might try uninstalling Zwift, defragging your hard drive, then re-installing it. The slow down is from Zwift having to load the world data from your drive.
Best solution, though, is to have a solid state hard drive (SSD). Reduces Zwift load time substantially!
Since zwift is open lobby network heavy, it’s likely not the users device
What is “open lobby network heavy”?
My old destop (magnetic hard drive) takes a couple of minutes on the blue screen while loading a route.
My laptop (solid state drive) takes 20-30 seconds maximum.
It is clear that the device (or the state of its storage) has a significant impact.
Riding against replays from races will be almost entirely pointless the vast majority of time. They should be split into two, so you have PR (Race) and PR (Free ride).
Love it. My own personal pacer.
i turn it off; im not interested in being baited
Love it 🙂
This will be great especially on the big climbs!
It was interesting to confirm on a recent solo ride using my fastest frame/wheel combo for the route (a TT frame and aero wheel, per ZwifterBikes) was easily beaten by my earlier holoride with a decent all around frame/wheel combo. Drafting is real.
Where is zwift announcing these things?

So great!, anyway, any news about Zwift Run?
Don’t assume the color of my ghost!
Me: “Make it available for Zwift Run as well.” Zwift HQ: “Not a snowball in hells chance, all you runners are free-loading on riders subscription fees.” (FYI, I also ride).
YES! I was wishing for that when they first announced the replays. This will be very motivating for my training
