Since their October launch, HoloReplays have become a popular Zwift feature. They can be used as a training tool for hill repeats or sprint intervals, or simply as a way to compete with your past self.
Zwift recently announced plans to expand HoloReplay’s capabilities substantially, making it possible to show HoloReplays on all routes in game.
What Isn’t Changing
As before, Zwifters will be able to replay their 90-day PR, last effort, both at the same time, or turn replays off. HoloReplays will still only show during Pacer Group rides and free rides, and all your segment and route activities are recorded except for group workouts, meetups, or other activities that have rubberbanding enabled.
So Many Routes!
Zwift has 168 rideable routes, but only 13 are holoreplayable at this time (see list under “Replayable Segments” here). With this change, any route you ride in game will be replayable.
Timing: Late January
Zwift says this feature is slated to release around a month from now, in late January 2023.
