ZHR Audax 200km

Go long, working with others, at whatever pace you’d like! An Audax is a cycling event in which participants attempt to cycle the distance within a pre-defined time limit. It is a non-competitive sport: success in an event is measured by its completion within the specified time limits, and everyone receives equal recognition regardless of their finishing order. Choose the category that matches your desired pace, then enjoy the camaraderie!

AJ Baucco group workout 7:25 am EST 3 hr endurance workout with the very best banter on zwift
The cancelled outdoor event “Tour d’Energie”, usually held in Göttingen (Germany) and planned for Sunday, has been replaced by the Zwift event “Paceheads TdE Triple Loops Race (40.8km/544m)” starting 10:00am CEST on Sunday, April 26th.
For the real experience, play ACDC’s “Hells Bells” during the last seconds of the countdown 😉
Do any of the rides with Pros unlock jerseys, anyone know? I haven’t jumped on one, but like the Mitchelton Scott kit and the EF one as well!
Not that I know of. The pro kits are only for the pro riders to keep.

Virtual version of “l’Ariégoise” Grandfondo.
Thanks for these weekly posts, been super helpful
Eric, your GMT is an hour out – we’re 5 hrs ahead of US Eastern time, not 4.
Not according to Google! UK is on BST now, right, which is GMT+1?
Dc rainmaker made a claim on his blog recently that zwift doesn’t take into account bike weight at all. Have any easy experiments you can do to dispute that? I know your position has been the bike weight on climbs is part of what makes heavy riders at a given w/kg faster on climbs.
Where did he say that?
On his latest blog post in a reply to someone. “Yeah, the lack of drafting in Rouvy AR is weird at this point. But, conversely, all platforms have their gaps. Zwift for example, as I’ve been finding out through recent testing, doesn’t actually take into account the bike weight (at all). So that skews things roughly 15lbs or so.”
Well, he’s wrong. 🙂
I guess he plans to share more on it soon.
“There is a difference between the different frames/etc, but none of it is founded in real-life reality. It’s why the other day when I did a test up the Alpe d’Huez in Zwift it was far faster than it should have been for that exact power output using that exact frame, and my exact weight/etc. FulGaz was virtually spot-on.
That’s because at present, Zwift isn’t actually accounting for the correct weight of the bike – it’s way under. Like, comes in about the weight of a laptop. More soon…
(And also explains why many other people have noted how much faster/easier Alpe d’Huez in Zwift felt than in real-life.)”
I really enjoyed the volcano circuit today. 25 laps was tough. To have that many people pulling for each other was cool. I have only been on Zwift about 5 weeks. I had never gotten over 25 Ride-on’s. I got 242 today. Wow!
If there was ever any doubt of ZwiftInsider’s influence on the community, all one would have to do is review how many people attempted the Volcano 25 lapper this past weekend. There was a constant line of riders around the Volcano for almost my entire ride. Amazing! And yes, I got my badge today, too. 🙂
That’s was a fun time! Got my 25 lap badge too. And had to ride an extra 12 miles because everyone voted against me! 🙂
Yesterday I set out to ride London 1/2 PR, after 61 miles nothing, no badge no completion. I call WTH I killed myself and could not believe it. Box Hill at least 4 times, Keith hill, Fox Hill twice, Leith hill twice are you kidding me? I call not fair.
