Zwift version 1.116 begins its phased rollout today. It includes significant additions to Zwift’s Drop Shop: four new bikes and four new wheelsets! See details below…
New Bikes and Wheels
Four new bike frames have arrived in the Drop Shop. Three of the frames are updated iterations of bike models we’ve already seen on Zwift, and the fourth is the first Wilier on the platform.
- Cervelo S5 (Lupine Limited Edition)
- 3 stars aero, 3 stars weight
- Requires Level 40 and 1,800,000 Drops
- Cannondale SuperSix EVO LAB71 Team
- 3 stars aero, 4 stars weight
- Requires Level 40 and 1,750,000 Drops
- Giant Propel Advanced SL Team
- 3 stars aero, 4 stars weight
- Requires Level 40 and 1,700,000 Drops
- Wilier Filante SLR ID2
- 3 stars aero, 4 stars weight
- Requires Level 40 and 1,700,000 Drops
All of the bikes are strong performers, but the standouts so far appear to be the new Cervelo S5 (very fast, although it’s not a standout climber) and the new Cannondale SuperSix (improves slightly on the LAB71 SuperSix already in game, which was already a strong all-arounder). Watch this space for detailed test results this week.
The update includes four new wheelsets as well: two “mixed depth” wheelsets from Reserve, an all-arounder wheelset from Cadex, and Miche’s first hoops in game:
- Reserve 57/64 Wheelset
- 4 stars aero, 3 stars weight
- Requires Level 29 and 550,000 Drops
- Reserve 34/37 Wheelset
- 3 stars aero, 4 stars weight
- Requires Level 29 and 550,000 Drops
- CADEX Max 50 Wheelset
- 4 stars aero, 4 stars weight
- Requires Level 29 and 680,000 Drops
- Miche Deva RD 62
- 4 stars aero, 3 stars weight
- Requires Level 29 and 650,000 Drops
Like the new bikes, we’re testing these wheels. Watch this space for detailed performance data!
Drop Shop Removals
This update removes five bikes from the Drop Shop:
If you already own these bikes, they’ll remain in your garage. This change just removes them from the Drop Shop, making them unavailable for purchase.
Release Notes
Zwift supplied these additional release notes:
- Fixed an issue where selecting an item in the garage could reset the equipped bike paint color to default.
- Fixed an issue where other riders on recumbent bikes or handcycles could appear to have incorrect pedaling animations.
- Improved connection reliability for trainers connected via Wi-Fi and Ethernet.
- Fixed an issue that could cause riders to move slower than expected in some locations in New York City when in meet-ups with the “Keep Everyone Together” option enabled.
- iOS, tvOS: Fixed an issue that could potentially cause delays when logging in.

I hope this resolves the issue I’ve been having for the last few rides, where my cadence suddenly spikes (jumping from 90 rpm to over 110 rpm) and the wattage drops drastically at the start of a climb. No issues at all in ERG mode, it only happens during free rides.
is it the cadence measurement (reported in game) or the actual cadence that spikes (I.e., sudden resistance drop)?
It’s the cadence that spikes and causes the resistance to suddenly drop.
For example, I’ll be riding at 150W / 90 RPM, and all of a sudden, I find myself at 70W / over 110 RPM.
I have to shift up 4 or 5 gears on the Zwift Click to get some resistance back before it finally stabilizes
All right. It’s probably the other way around though; if the resistance suddenly drops, your cadence will have to increase.
Hard to tell if it is a Zwift issue or a Zwift Click issue, but so far we only know it happened to one Zwift Click user…
You should not assume that the game release will fix this or that the game version is related to the problem. Things like this can be bugs, or not they can be problems with the trainer, or problems with the trainer communicating with the game. If you want to take the time to work through the details, go to the Zwift forum and share everything about your setup – the trainer model, how you’re pairing it, everything else you’re pairing, the type of device you run the game on.
Aren’t there supposed to be new Paris routes coming for the Tour? When’re those going to be announced? Usually happens on update release day but not this time.
Launch was previously set for this coming Friday, so I’d say expect the news to come then; just 8 days before TdF’26 departure.
New Paris routes won’t be available to ride until “early July” according to ZwiftHQ.
Ok but when will they be announced? They’re in the previous release (maybe) and we’re likely looking at 3 weeks until the next update because of US Independence Day.
They’re already in game, just not visible. I don’t think details will be announced until the routes are rideable, likely for some Tour de France-related events.
The “This Season in Zwift Spring 2026” article said Paris Expansion was coming 26 June, the Tour Fever Challenge was for 02 July?
Yeah, I also had jun 26 recorded for new expansion.
Yes, June 26 launch date. Event only routes start July 6.
Zwift – Paris expansion (preview)
Is it just me, or does the same orange and blue zwift banners lining the course of every city map kinda make them feel the same? Or at least, less differentiated then I’d like. I want some different feels/looks to the worlds for more variety and distinctiveness.
Does this release support the new Paris routes expected to be released on 6/26/26?
New Paris routes won’t be available to ride until “early July” according to ZwiftHQ.
info shared on the forum today says the expansion will be enabled on July 6
What about those new gravel routes? Was that released after they removed them a couple of months ago?
Gravel Mountain should return soon, I know they’re testing updates internally and it’s close!
Frequently having website login trouble, “CAPTCHA”
Yesterday I had to give the chat bot my email and that apparently fixed it
Why can’t I just stay logged in?????

Not sure which website you’re talking about… we don’t use a captcha here…
Hopefully this will have fixed my issue that has only happened the last few weeks. The trainer disconnected from the game mid ride and wouldn’t connect back again. It wasn’t connecting to the Power Source. Tried turning off and on the trainer, but jyst had to suck it up. When the 35 deg weather ends and it rains again, I’ll check it out. 👍👍
Maybe the super six lab 71 will tie tarmac sl8. that make two frame best all rounder. looking forward to test results.
Zwift must have decided that Eric needs to do a whole heap load more testing.
When this update rol-out? Untill now no any on iPad, pc or Android.
Will there be any updates to trek in the next releases? It’s been a while…
I just updated and no longer have a route of the week… anyone else?
I got an email today congratulating me on achieving level 100. I don’t have an indoor bike and have never had a paid Zwift membership. I only run, and am at level 34 in running. I seem to have the jerseys, socks, glasses, etc., for level 100 riding. I think something is amiss here.

Yup! Zwift did a coordinated release with Specialized today. I’ll be posting about it soon…
Eight new route badges:

And the two Red Rock badges that were never gettable that were removed are now back.
