Route Description

Route profile by ZwiftHub – the place to plan and track your route achievements!

This route begins in downtown Watopia with a longish lead-in that takes you up and around the southern side of the Volcano Circuit and onto Jarvis Island in a clockwise direction. The route officially starts and ends at the Jarvis Sprint line.

From there, you’ll travel around most of the Jarvis loop, climbing the Jarvis KOM Reverse and descending toward the Queen Mary before turning left to head back toward the Volcano, this time riding the northern portion of the Volcano Circuit then hitting the twisty Esses and the fast JWB Sprint Reverse. Continue on past the Italian Villas and Hank’s Gas and you’ll find yourself climbing the Hilly KOM Reverse, which is this route’s largest climb.

Descend the Hilly KOM, grab a cheeky supertuck if you’re so inclined, then ride through Watopia’s downtown again. You’ll be covering the same roads as the lead-in from here to the end of the route at the flat Jarvis Sprint Reverse.

The profile doesn’t look correct. It says Volcano KOM when the map marker is on Jarvis, and similarly says Jarvis Sprint, Jarvis KOM Rv and Jarvis Lap Rv when the map marker isn’t on Jarvis.

It’s correct, it’s just that the legend got put onto 2 lines instead of 1 so it looks like it doesn’t line up – if you look at each coloured box and what it is, then line it up with the coloured boxes as they appear on the map, it makes sense. I think they just needed to reduce the font size so the legend would appear all on one line!

Oh but I think that last climb is Zwift KOM reverse…so it’s almost correct ha

How is it in the brilliant coding of Zwift can you select a pre-defined route (for the first time) and it take you off course? This is not the first time it has happened. This is not a Rebel route and wasn’t a Meetup, just follow the signs.

Route Description (Blue Profile pic) is incorrect. The Route does not start directly at Jarvis KoM, there are a few KM’s before that?

Did the route this morning – no Route Complete Banner when finished and the route does not show up on my list of Accomplishments. The other Jarvis Island maps, like Deca Dash, are there. Strange.
Other than that, good route

Is there a way to see this while in the Zwift app?

My club(Cycle Nation) is doing this ride tomorrow as a 100km endurance ride. It’ll take about three hours to complete but I was hoping for a 6 hour ride and fancied going up the ADZ a couple of times afterwards, but here’s the thing…….I don’t want to have to click end ride on my endurance ride and start another ride e.g. Road to Sky. I’d prefer keeping it all as one ride. So the way to do that would be to ride to the ADZ after my endurance ride, but I’m not totally sure how to get there. So my question is…… Couldn’t Zwift build in some sort of a “google maps” gps function to guide me to my destination? Lastly, if I’ve missed some or other blatantly easy and obvious way of doing this, please feel free to call me stupid and then tell me how to go about it.

Haha, cheers Eric. I thought of that but my map reading/following skills are dismal at best. What i ended up deciding on was teleporting to one of the two robopacers that were going past the turn in to ADZ. Appreciate all your hard work!!!!

I did this route today. Sorry to be a pedant, but is it called ‘Triple twist’ or ‘Triple twists’. The completion banner says ‘Triple twists’. The strava route is also called ‘Triple twist’.

I just completed this route as part of Zwift Games Road to Glory group ride. No route completion banner after the final sprint and only 571 XP awarded.
Did I do something wrong ?

Thanks Eric

I have just checked Strava and you’re correct I unknowingly rode the route for Eric Mins Thanksgiving Day ride on 28-11-2024. 😄
