Route Description
We begin from the Normandy start pens and head onto a section of France’s newer cobbled roads, taking on the Dos d’Âne Sprint Reverse before turning right to head onto the twisty, rolling Les Intestins.
From there, you’ll turn left onto France’s main outer loop, heading counterclockwise to go up the backside of the Petit KOM. Descend the zigzags after you finish climbing, hit the Ballon Sprint Reverse and Dos d’Âne Sprint, then ride through the field of sunflowers to the village where the Pavé Sprint Reverse awaits.
You’ll take on the Aqueduc KOM Reverse soon after the sprint, then you get just a couple minutes of flat road before hitting the course’s final obstacle: the Petit KOM. The KOM arch is the finish line for the route, so give it all you’ve got to the line, then turn right at the top to head downhill for some easy miles. You’ve earned it!

XOM finishes, so hot right now.
Another pointless new route. I don’t understand why Zwift keep creating new routes on the same roads.
Which race organizers NEVER uses, we race the same #### all the time
There really needs to be a lot more variety in the events.
It’s the easiest way to give something “new”, making new roads is more time intensive. So we get new routes instead.
To be fair though, this is a pretty damn great route, especially for points racing!
Often it seems like the new routes on existing roads are redundant, but this route looks pretty unique among the France map routes. I appreciate that is brings something new and should be very interesting to race.
First after party/kicker route I’ve seen for the ZG26. i think all the ZG25 routes had them.
What is the issue with zwift code that they can’t add in segments? It makes no sense that Reverse Petit KOM is not a segment in game.
What type of bike and wheels should I use for this route?
Stephen, my go-to for these choices is ZwifterBikes. Just punch in your details (height, weight, which wheels and frames you have in-game), and the site will suggest your best pick. Good luck!
Thanks Mat!
