Route Description
We begin in Central Park, traveling south down through the lap banner before taking two rights to head north toward Harlem Hill. The road is never flat here, so be ready for some short, hard efforts in a race!
Instead of riding up Harlem Hill, you’ll ride down part of it before turning left to climb up the glass roads. This is the longest single climb on this route (although it’s only ~700 meters long). From the top of that climb you’ll make your elevated way across Central Park, then descend to ground level and leave the park to head toward Times Square.
One subway stands between you and Times Square, which means a steep, fast downramp followed by an equally step upramp! Fortunately, Zwift cheats a bit, giving riders a power boost on the upramps, so these barely even count as climbs.
After climbing up from the subway, you’ll ride through Times Square Circuit, then head back to Central Park via another trip through the subway.
When you enter Central Park, you’ll turn left to take on the only leaderboard segment on this entire route: the NY Sprint Reverse. From this point, you’ve only got ~1km left to the finish line!
You’ll need to play this just right in a race, as it’s a punchy little uphill finish. Feathers, Draft Boosts, and Aero Helmets can all be a huge help in the final meters, if timed correctly. Good luck!
