Route Description

Route profile by ZwiftHub – the place to plan and track your route achievements!

Events on this route begin at the southern coast start pens, while free riders skip the lead-in and start at the Sasquatch Sprint banner.

Following the Sasquatch Sprint, you’ll roll along Watopia’s southern coast, descending into the fast Woodland Sprint then continuing up and into the desert for a quick ride through and out of Saddle Springs.

Descend through the redwoods, then turn right to head into the Ocean Boulevard tube which takes you across to the marina area with its dirt roads and fishing village. A quick climb up to the Italian Villas delivers you onto the dusty, twisty descent of the Dirty Sorpressa, then it’s a flat bit of riding across the land bridge to the Volcano.

Turning left, we arrive at Jarvis Island. We’ll be here for one CCW loop of the course, which takes you up the KOM, through the sprint, then through the lap banner to finish. Do it fast enough and you just may grab the orange lap jersey!

What’s with the colored paint jobs on roads not only on this course but others? Is this Zwift’s effort to show their wokeness with the rainbow blocks on throughout the routes? Zwift makes good efforts to provide a real-life experience while riding but where do you find anything like this outside? This is way over the top and should be revamped without all the colors.

lol. It’s just in celebration of ten years of Zwift.
No issues with dinosaurs or riding beside active volcanoes though eh?

Ha, I can out ride the dinosaurs, and the volcanoes feel good in the winter. Thanks for the clarification.

Wokeness? Do you also take issue with Zwifters who wear rainbow Pride jerseys? 🤦‍♀️🤯

Haven’t noticed as jerseys are so colorful anyway.

I visited a small town in Iceland last year that had their main street painted in colors like this … festive colors to comfort the mind during long and bleak winter days.

Some people use the word Woke as if it’s supposed to be an insult. But mostly they use it because they can’t spell “empathetic” or “educated” or “enlightened”. Merry Christmas.
