New kit day is always a good day, right? Here’s a handy closet-expanding tip from Shane Miller, our favorite Aussie Lama. In this short video, Shane explains how to unlock the kit for the maker of your power meter or smart trainer:
There are actually several manufacturer kits in game, with some unlocked via promo codes and some unlocked when you pair that manufacturer’s hardware. Note that, according to Shane, the hardware must be paired via ANT+ for the unlock to take place!
Here are the list of manufacturer’s kits we know of (along with their unlock method):
- 4iiii: pair your 4iiii power meter via ANT+
- Elite: enter promo code “GoElite”, or pair an Elite trainer via ANT+
- Garmin: connect your Garmin account to Zwift via the Connections panel
- JetBlack: pair any JetBlack trainer
- Kinetic: pair your Kinetic trainer via ANT+ or join the Kinetic Group Ride on Tuesdays or Thursdays
- Pioneer: pair your Pioneer power meter via ANT+
- Quarq: pair your Quarq powermeter via ANT+
- Saris: enter promo code “KnowNoBounds”
- Stages: pair your stages power meter via ANT+
- Tacx: enter promo code “GoTacx”
- Wahoo: enter promo code “WahooFitness”
- Wattbike: pair your Wattbike Atom via ANT+

Hmmm….Saris….I have been using the H3 since April via Ant+ and has not become unlocked.
I use ANT+ on my H3, too. I had to enter a promo code to unlock my Saris kit. Try “KNOWNOBOUNDS”.

Noob question time, but: How do you enter a Promo Code or Unlock Code for kit? (In case it matters I normally use Zwift on my android mobile phone)
Hit “P” on the keyboard when in game.
How do I get the stages kit when I use an ipad for my whole experience?
You don’t. Intstall Zwift on a PC or MAC (from a friend) and login using your credentials. In a world, hit “P” to pop up the entry field. Write the code and hit enter. Kits are in your wardrobe for ever now, also on your iPad.
The Garmin kit, you get it when you pair your Garmin account to Zwift or vice-versa

I unlocked a pretty sweet Pioneer kit when pairing up my power meter via ANT!
Another vote for the Wattbike kit unlocking when you pair an Atom. Same with the Elite kit I have it from when I had an Elite smart trainer.

This came to a surprise to me when I unlocked the Computrainer kit when I paired a Computrainer just for fun!
