Hey all, I’m looking to do something crazy this weekend. I’m wanting about a 30-40 minute climb that I can do every 4 hours for 48 hours. I think Epic KOM is a good target for me, but what route should I choose to get to the Epic KOM segment the fastest? Three Sisters? 3 Sisters, would have me ride 10Km before even starting the climb. Is there a faster way to get there?

Mountain Route would be the most direct: https://zwiftinsider.com/mountain-route/

I’m told fastest access (least flats) to a good climb is Epic KOM from Road to Sky. Start Road to Sky and immediately u-turn. Your at the base of Epic KOM and Radio Tower extension.

Hello, quick question, in the picture on top of the article, there is a white and blue gate with the head of an animal (probably a chamois),,, the other day, after climbing the Ven-top, a temporary jersey appeared while riding (with those colors and the head of chamois),
I had a look at temp jersey but didn’t find why I had it, could you help me with that? Tks!

I’m wondering this too @Eric Schlange – I did Mountain 8 today and was busting my rear trying to get close to the time of the 1st place (and only) female on Epic KOM and had just over 100 meters to go and then my avatar turned right heading to Radio Tower?? I had no idea Mountain 8 didn’t include the total Epic KOM climb (since it’s literally showing on the Route details). So irritating when you think you’re on it (because the timer for the segment is counting) and then find out you’re turning before completion!! 😱😢

Jason – searched thru my Strava and found that I have done Epic KOM 3 times – on these routes: Mountain Route, Big Loop and Bigger Loop.

Would the tarmac pro with lightwheigt wheels be the fastest up or the tron bike with the consideration of some declines during the epic kom segment?

You list the elevation gain for the Epic KOM as 1361′, as does the Everesting calculator, BUT the Strava segment says 1196′. Any idea why?

In-game elevations don’t always match Strava’s. Not sure why! And it makes things a real pain in the butt.
