“Suki’s Playground” Route Details (Makuri Islands)
Introduced two months after Yumezi’s launch, Suki’s Playground is a rather flat figure 8 named in memory of Zwift Senior Game Designer Richard Yeh’s dog Suki, who passed while Richard was developing routes for the Yumezi map.
“I adopted Suki when she was only 11 weeks old, and we had a wonderful 11 years together,” says Richard. “She passed away suddenly last September, but her spirit is always still with me. She loved to run and do zoomies when she got excited. The route was initially called ‘Zoomies for Suki’, but we changed it to ‘Suki’s Playground.’”

Route Description

Route profile by ZwiftHub – the place to plan and track your route achievements!
This route begins at the main lap banner, traveling downhill. You’ll ride through the flat farmlands, then cut across to the Castle Area, where a bit of climbing takes you up to the marketplace before you head to the Fishing Village.
Then it’s an easy descent down to Village Onsen and the Country Sprint before cutting across once more to the Castle Area, where you’ll keep going straight to ride through the lap banner once more.
Nice one Eric, thanks!
Nice write up. I did this route on the 20th thanks to the hack. Slap on some aero wheels and have fun as there is no dirt. A great route for recovery or jumping back in after a long work week.
Is this achievement route up on ZwiftHub?
Just did the route to day as part of the weekly easy sunday team ride. Fun route for anytime riding. Would be a good race in the twisty turns with steep sections just before dropping down to the finish. One note when I did finish the first lap of the route it showed 365XP bonus. Verfied with my XP gain for the day when subtracting km xp out.
I completed the route yesterday in workout mode and didn’t get the badge, is there a bug?
I wouldn’t say this route is “quite flat!” You will get a workout. Includes some beautiful fall scenery. Is this in 1? I assume so, but it’s not listed on the Zwift Insider “Routes by Difficulty” sheet (a very helpful table).
I lost my cat recently and liked seeing all of the in-game kitties enjoying life in the villages.
