Racing HUD Free is brilliant!! Even in normal races I switch it off to race purely on feel and what I see. Adds a brand new dimension to it and I always like to stream to show that it still hurts!! Twitch.tv/moatymcmoatface
The funniest thing about the no HUD video is that having whined continually for the whole video the guy then says he doesn’t hate it, he’s undecided! I hope I never watch a video of something he really doesn’t like
I really like the idea of sprint battles! Might just be a bit impractical for events with many riders. Maybe to be complemented by qualification runs with 4-6 racers or a 1-km time trial to make up pairs? On the other hand you could run many sprint battles in parallel for each of the earlier tournament rounds…
Just done a no HUD race, cat B. The hardest thing is not knowing if you’re racing against A’s,Bs or Cs as everyone merged as we came out of the pens.
Good fun though racing on feel and instinct. Definitely not good for the sandbaggers!!
when racing no-HUD, just use the companion app for data.
