Zwift’s Alpe is a perfect place to test your fitness, with the full climb taking anywhere from 50 to 90 minutes for most riders. Interval efforts can also be put in between specific bends if desired.
We’ve created a set of Alpe du Zwift bike segments which include the full ascent, the full descent, and segments between each of the turns. Here’s the list:
- Alpe du Zwift
- Alpe du Zwift Descent
- Alpe du Zwift Start to Bend 21
- Alpe du Zwift Bend 21 to 20
- Alpe du Zwift Bend 20 to 19
- Alpe du Zwift Bend 19 to 18
- Alpe du Zwift Bend 18 to 17
- Alpe du Zwift Bend 17 to 16
- Alpe du Zwift Bend 16 to 15
- Alpe du Zwift Bend 15 to 14
- Alpe du Zwift Bend 14 to 13
- Alpe du Zwift Bend 13 to 12
- Alpe du Zwift Bend 12 to 11
- Alpe du Zwift Bend 11 to 10
- Alpe du Zwift Bend 10 to 9
- Alpe du Zwift Bend 9 to 8
- Alpe du Zwift Bend 8 to 7
- Alpe du Zwift Bend 7 to 6
- Alpe du Zwift Bend 6 to 5
- Alpe du Zwift Bend 5 to 4
- Alpe du Zwift Bend 4 to 3
- Alpe du Zwift Bend 3 to 2
- Alpe du Zwift Bend 2 to 1
- Alpe du Zwift Bend 1 to Banner
Looks like someone has created a fake zwift insider verified segment https://www.strava.com/segments/21975408?filter=overall
Yep. And nothing we can do about it! Grrrr…
Any update on the missing segment?
Eric, How about adding 21-19, 21-18, and 18-16. Then, at least, a rider can get the their own times for the short sections by subtracting?
Once you are in the game, Zwift is very well executed, but there is so much that they could provide users in the web site that they don’t bother with. Like a list of all-time PRs that we can paste into a spreadsheet. Like a similar list of achievement badges so you don’t have to log into the game to see it.
Oh well, at least you help fill in their gaps. For which tens of thousands are grateful.
I’m going to try exactly this. I’ll make them private at first, and if it works maybe I’ll make them public. Thanks for the suggestion!
In case anyone would prefer RideWithGPS to Strava, I’ve created a pretty close set of segments for the total ride and each turn. I think these are all within a couple seconds on each turn (based on looking at my own ride and comparing times to screen snips I took while riding), and the total is within 5 seconds. So not perfectly accurate but very close.
I’ll delete these and refer people to the zwiftinsider official ones if you make any for RideWith GPS, but if not hopefully these are close enough for most users:

Are the missing segments going to be added?
Not until Strava changes their system and allows us to create shorter segments.
The official Zwift version of the climb is 12,44km, the Zwift Insider version on Strava is 12,22km. Why the difference?
Zwift’s in-game distances don’t always match Strava’s. (It’s even more noticeable with elevations.) And riders can take different lines around, corners, etc, which can change things a bit.
But last time I went up there I had a different time on zwift (58:40) vs Strava (58:15) while a friend of mine had the exact same time. How is that explainable? I assume that the starting and ending points are the same so the time should be the same too, despite the different lines and/or corners you might ride inbetween?
HI, Does anyone know where I can find the details of the 3 missing segments?
20 to 19
19 to 18 and 17 to 16?
looking for distance, feet climbing and avg %
I am sure someone must have simply written it down when riding?
Thanks
Some of the newly created short segments match when going down. Less then ideal strava matching behaviour.
