We knew it was only a matter of time before someone produced a decent, affordable steering device. Elite has done it!
Our favorite Lama recently posted a review of the Elite Sterzo, a device that goes under your Zwift setup’s front tire so you can safely move the handlebars when using Zwift’s FutureWorks steering capabilities.
Watch Shane put the Sterzo through its paces on Watopia’s Repack Ridge course:
Initial pricing from Elite for the Sterzo (mechanical version as shown here): Europe: €39.99, UK: £34.99. (It is just now coming onto the market, so pricing/availability isn’t entirely clear.)
I am interested to see how the electronic one interact with Zwift. I have built a steerer for my bike way before Zwift with auto center and it act as a game controller for playing Need for speed. I wonder what protocol will zwift allow for steering?
Zwift will change forever if someone makes a plug and play version of this with no drifting, lag or dropping out.
anyone found a online retailer that sells this thing?
found it https://www.sigmasports.com/item/Elite/Sterzo-Steering-Frame/PKDB
it is there in stock, but says they won’t deliver to USA
would this be compatible with kickr climb?
sounds tricky… I don’t have a climb my my guess is no.
