Route Description
Beginning at the Mech Isle Start Pens, you’ll travel south for your lead-in to the Tidepool Sprint Reverse. This sprint’s arch is the official start/finish for the course.
Turning left at the next intersection, you’ll head to the longest climb of this route, affectionately known as Pain Cavern. This subterranean climb takes you through the mining tunnel that climbs up to Neokyo Harbor. Push hard to hold onto those wheels, knowing you’ve got lots of flat road plus a descent coming up next!
You’ll ride through Neokyo’s perma-night cityscape next, hitting the Tower Sprint, then turn left to enjoy the beautiful Slot Canyon descent. This road takes you down to the Urukazi area, where you’ll spend the remainder of your ride.
After going through the Tidepool Sprint yet again, you’ll turn right and climb up through the Mangrove Maze before arriving at the Festival Harbor boardwalk for your final climb. This snaking hill will doubtless see big attacks in races, so be ready to go all in! The Shisa Sprint is at the top, then it’s a corkscrew descent back to sea level for a flat finish at the Tidepool Sprint banner.
