Ah, Strava. Your app has helped inspire me to push hard on so many outdoor rides, and it’s helped knit together our local cycling community.
But lately, you’ve made some changes that detract from the experience instead of adding to it. The most recent I noticed just the last week after a Zwift ride. When I went to my list of segments it showed this:
The same segment, listed three times (since I rode it three times).
But here’s the thing… I have starred segments that I rode on this ride, and they did not show up in my list. When I click “View All Results” I see:
Somehow, Strava has decided I would much rather see a useless segment 3x than the segments I have starred. And that’s just silly. It reminds me of the beef I had with Strava’s automatic hiding/unhiding algorithm earlier this year. My guess is the two issues are related.
So please fix it, Strava! If I ride a starred segment, show me the segment! Simple as that.
