We’ve seen some sweet deals on smart trainers and smart bikes in the past year thanks to manufacturers being overstocked and needing to make room for fresh inventory.

But the deal announced by Zwift and Stages today may be the best yet!

While supplies last, you can pick up the Stages SB20 Smart Bike plus a full year of Zwift for just $1399. Let’s break that down:

    • The Stages SB20 is a high-quality smartbike with a suggested retail price of $3150USD, although it’s been on sale for $2500 for months.
    • Zwift for 1 year is $180USD

Based on the current SB20 pricing of $2500, this package price represents a 44% discount (or 58% off the suggested retail price)!

If you’re looking to buy a quality smartbike this season, this may be the best deal you’ll get. And if you make the purchase through this link, we’ll get a small affiliate commission that supports this site. A win-win!

(Oh, and did I mention that customers in the continental US get free shipping?)

Question – I’m 6’1″ and my wife is 5’2″. How messy would it be for us to readjust each time we want to switch off?

It is not hard, I have one I use it the most at 5’8″ but my daughter uses it as well and she is right at 5′ – I have just written down the numbers from the various pieces and can adjust it in like 2 minutes.. easy

Looks like four necessary adjustments: handlebar height and reach, seat height and fore/aft position. Should be able to mark your preferred positions and adjust in like 30 seconds. The tricky bit is the crank length because the pedals need to be removed and reinstalled. That doesn’t take long with a nice (long) wrench, but would be a bit more of a hassle. Some people are sensitive to crank length and others are not but you have a big difference between you two. I would recommend 175mm for you and 165 for her so may be awkward to compromise and you… Read more »

I owned this for a while and while the whole bike is well built the resistance changes in Zwift are awful, and are like hitting a wall and falling off a cliff when going up and down hills.

I’ve had one for 18 months and haven’t experienced that issue unless suddenly hitting a steep gradient. The only issue I’ve had was with the app, but they finally built a new one and it works much better. It’s a nice solid unit and the gearing system (need to use your phone to see the gearing) is VERY flexible and seemless. I’ve talked two friends into getting one.

I had this for exactly one race when I bought it…you have to change the trainer difficulty to 50% on zwift…then all good.

      Want mine?
I got myself a kicker bike v2, much better. Did 36000 Zwift km on the SB20. Phone is required to visualize gears, quite annoying. Workout don’t work well with Zwift, too much lag.

OK, this just makes me mad! I’m in Canada and bought an SB20 shortly after it was released — for almost $5000 CAD! There was only one store in Toronto that had one, and yeah, beggars can’t be choosers. That said, I can wholeheartedly recommend this bike to anyone, and at $1400 it’s a total no-brainer steal of a deal. The thing is built like a tank (rock solid during all-out sprinting) and I’ve had exactly zero problems after 7600km of Zwifting (i.e. approximate width of Canada). Nifty bonus — it takes up way less length than a regular bike… Read more »

I have had an SB20 for about 18 months also and love it. It’s easily adjustable and almost maintenance free. I just hop on and go, every time. The best fitness purchase I’ve made in years. I use it hard, mostly competitive B racing, 3-5 days a week. It is a tank, and doesn’t budge when riding, so people who like rocking will probably find it stiff. But the great features of this machine are endless. Customer service, if needed, is quick via email. It’s too bad it’s not available in other countries. Stages needs to fix that immediately.

Had my SB20 since November. Out of the crate and hooked up in 30minutes! Awesome bike!
The sensitivity to inclines compared to my Kickr Core was a bit of a shock to the legs ;0)

As someone who paid $1799 for this (and without a Zwift promo) back in November on a Black Friday deal, I’m a little bummed to see this, but it’s an incredible deal and I wholeheartedly recommend this kit. It’s been a game changer.
