Route Description

Route profile by ZwiftHub – the place to plan and track your route achievements!

We begin in downtown Watopia, riding through the start/finish arch and heading toward The Esses. Hit the JWB Sprint Reverse, ride through the Italian Villas, then go down to the Fishing Village and into the Ocean Boulevard tunnel, where you’ll turn right at Sequoia Circle to begin climbing toward the Epic KOM.

Don’t worry, though: you don’t need to climb the whole mountain! Just the punchy start and across the bridge, then turn right onto the Epic KOM Bypass road which takes you across to descend through the Mayan Jungle.

Turn left from the bottom of the jungle road, onto the southern coast road, then another left to begin climbing up toward The Grade. You’ll hit the Mayan Mountainside KOM segment first, followed by the Itza KOM segment, before turning left and heading up the twisty second half of The Grade.

This is the biggest single climb on Snowman (~2km long at an average of 8.8%). Once you reach the top, pat yourself on the back, because “it’s all downhill from here.” Descend the Epic KOM (supertuck, anyone?), hit the Epic KOM Bypass road again, then continue your descent down to the wind turbines, where you’ll turn right to get onto Ocean Boulevard once more. It’ll take you back into downtown Watopia, where the route ends at the same arch where it began.

Thanks for sharing this info. The named Koms aren’t too bad on this route but ‘The Grade’ bends are so close to second KOM that it gets very very hard at the top! Good route. 😁

FRR has teach me that Aero bike with disc.
Mayan and itza are draftable, epic begin and grade 2nd part not so much, but those are short compared to the rest of the route.

Just did this today. Was tough all the way to the top of the grade. It’s a welcome change to then go downhill for the last 10kms until the finish line. Does get a little bit boring though as it’s too much downhill and I had the legs to go more!

Had no idea what I was getting myself into. Just started up again after a break. Glad I finished. Nice route.
