Introduced in Zwift’s November 2021 update, Railways and Rooftops is almost the pitchiest route in Neokyo, climbing 70 meters over its 6.2km length. Along the way it takes you over the Railway Sprint then up the backside of the Rooftop KOM which (strangely) is not currently a timed segment.

Route Description

Route profile by ZwiftHub – the place to plan and track your route achievements!

The route has one of the longer lead-ins of the Neokyo routes, beginning at Neo Arcade and climbing up onto the Neokyo Railway, where you will begin the actual lap at the virtual start/finish banner.

Then it’s time to sprint! The Railway Sprint is Neokyo’s longest sprint (490m according to Strava), so you’ll have to pace yourself just right in order to set your best time.
After sprinting it’s time to go up, up, up, twisting your way across the rooftops of Neokyo all the way to the KOM banner. (This segment isn’t currently timed – climbing the KOM from the other side is – but our guess is Zwift will change this eventually.) Once you’re through the KOM banner, enjoy the twisty descent back to the railway, where you’ll find the virtual finish line. Unless you want to do it all over again?

How about updating the ‘printable’ list to include the new map?

Not sure if if makes most sense to post in reply to this route, but when riding Neokyo I notice based on road feel that there are a couple different surfaces. Is the Crr known for such sections? Are the tiles and (I believe) park sections like cobbles, boardwalk or dirt even?

I guessing many are brick based on the sound they make riding over them and how the they look. Some sections are darker color with a darker sky so not easily to tell. Not sure about the railway sections or the arcade.

I’ve missed this session. When will it be possible to recover it?
Thanks.
