Route Description

Route profile by ZwiftHub – the place to plan and track your route achievements!

The route begins in downtown Watopia. If you’re free riding, you’ll begin near the new arch added in the June 2024 update to Ocean Boulevard (see photo below).

You won’t be on Ocean Boulevard for long, though! Hang a quick left up toward Fuego Flats, then a right onto Titans Grove’s rollercoaster road, including Titans Grove KOM Reverse. Give it a bit of a push to blow out the cobwebs, then descend from that climb and say hello to the dinos as you exit Titans Grove and make your way through Saddle Springs to the southern coast road.

As you ride the southern coast you’ll go through the Woodland and Sasquatch Sprints – and maybe even see Sasquatch himself – before reaching Ciudad La Cumbre (“Summit City”). Ready for The Grade? This climb is an FTP test, although you can ride it casually if you’d like. Whatever you choose to do, once you finish The Grade you’ll turn left to continue climbing the Epic KOM Forward before descending back to sea level. Almost there!

Ride through the Fishing Village then wind your way up toward the Italian Villas and down the Dirty Sorpressa to cross the land bridge to the Volcano. Then it’s into the Volcano, across the glass bridge, and a glide into downtown Watopia to finish at the same Ocean Boulevard arch where you began. Nice work!

Be aware that the finish isn’t at the Ocean Boulevard finish line, you obviously hat to go a bit further than that. Yesterday I stopped shortly behind the finish arc and was wondering why I didn’t get the message for finishing the route. Afterwards I found out, that I was 300 meters short… Bummer.

I just had the same thing happen to me! So it has not been fixed yet! Glad this was posted here because I was very confused. I would have kept riding but I was on a bit of a time crunch.

always play to the whistle!

Still, I really enjoyed the route and so now you get the pleasure of getting to do it all over again! Trying to look on the bright side for you 😉

So, what is the hack that people are using to cheat and get the route badge on this? I rode for 50km and the route tracker on the display just disconnected on the forward KOM at around 43 km into the ride. It’s DEFINITELY NOT 46 kilometers. There’s no legitimate way. to get this route badge, unless I’m missing something. I wouldn’t waste time on this route until later this year.

Riding in free ride mode, twice it routed me onto Repack Rush and ended the route tracking altogether.

There’s no thread or report of a bug with this route on the zwift forums, so if there is a bug then I don’t think Zwift is aware of it.

I enjoyed this route but the game awarded me the badge (and is showing it in my list of earned badges) but the app say that the route is uncompleted and that the XP bonus is still up for grabs.

might have to ride it again I order to get the app to agree with the game – who knows whether I’ll get the XP bonus again, but I suspect not.

What’s the right bike for this route? It seems to be defined by the hefty block of climbing on the Grade and Epic KOM but there’s also a lot of flat riding. Suggestions appreciated.

For the fastest time riding alone, I’d recommend an aero bike, as the most of the time the route is flat. In a race, bike choice depends on your tactics and strengths.

Just finished the route and got the badge. The finish is around 800m past the boulevard arch, on a finish line almost next to the 400m running track. Was at a little over 46km. Strange location for a route finish, as normally all routes finish at a regular arch?

Finished the route today (did 55 km), but didn’t get the badge. Nor the Strava segment. After a while the name of the route and the remaining distance disappeared in the window on the upper right. The same happened some time ago on the London PRL. Strange.
