Route Description

Route profile by ZwiftHub – the place to plan and track your route achievements!

Begin in downtown Watopia and head up the short ramp to The Esses, which twist and turn and dump you at the fast start of the JWB Sprint Reverse. Catch your breath through the Italian Villas and up past the waterfall, then wave to the seals as you loop back to the JWB and head back through The Esses to the downtown banner.

That’s the sprint leg done. Now it’s time for the hilly leg!

Head up the Hilly KOM and go all-in for polka-dotted glory if you’ve got the legs. Then grab a bit of recovery on the descent, where you’ll turn a quick right onto the bypass road that loops back to the Hilly KOM.

Almost there! Just 1km of flattish roads take you back to downtown, where you’ll sprint for the win through the start/finish banner.

Eric, on the topic of XP and tracking activities, are you still maintaining ZwiftHub? If so, any thoughts of adding the climb portal routes into it?

Funny route name this! The same words also exactly exist in Dutch, where the name would mean “Walk the Walk”. Would love riding this route soon;)

Will these routes be available to select in game / through companion app, or event only?

Rode the event version, both laps, today. I saw the completion banner for the Loop de Loop after the first lap, but didn’t get the badge. Anyone else ride today and get the badge?

For me the banner popped up to say route completed. However I couldn’t find the badge in my collection of completed routes.
I think I got the XP but I don’t know what the points were.
Edit: just seen it’s 245 points, see further up

Rode Loop de Loop today and didn’t end up back downtown. The course took me to the Italian villas.

A ladder race yesterday saw 2 riders get “lost” on this course. Might be a new bug with the navigation.
