    Introduced in Zwift’s May 2021 Yumezi launch, Flatland Loop contains a few more lumps and bumps than the name implies – in fact, it’s not even the flattest route on the Yumezi map (that distinction goes to Two Village Loop)! But it does manage to skip the KOMs.

    Introduced in Zwift’s May 2021 Yumezi launch, Flatland Loop contains a few more lumps and bumps than the name implies – in fact, it’s not even the flattest route on the Yumezi map (that distinction goes to Two Village Loop)! But it does manage to skip the KOMs.

    Pro tip: this is the route used for the lap leaderboard on Yumezi, so give it a go if you want to grab orange!

    This route breaks up nicely into 3 sections of roughly equal length: the flat start, the slight climb up through two villages, then the descent back to the start line.

    We begin with a 5.5km flat warmup through the farmlands to the Country Sprint arch. Then the road begins to climb as you go through Village Onsen and the Fishing Village before turning right to head back toward the Castle area.

    From here on out it’s either flat or descending all the way back to the start line.

    This one I really like! I think this will be a good benchmark route or TT ti test your legs. The flat/downhill start makes a good warm up for the tougher end.
    My favourite so far😀

    Did the Flatland Loop today, without getting the badge for it. Strava did not acknowlidge it either. Looking at the “potential segment match” it looks like i took another way trough the town shortly before the finish line 🙁

    Unfortunately i stopped after ~24 km so did not go trough that spot more than once

    There is a segment labelled Country Loop but I can’t find out how to ride it. Anyone know?

    Take the Flat route go through the start banner and make a u-turn.
    You will complete the Country Lap in the counter-clockwise direction. The clockwise version of the Flat Route will miss the second sprint. You would have to make a manual turn. Otherwise, you will go straight past the sprint and turn above it. The timer will disappear and not reappear. But for now, the counter-clockwise direction works without manual turns.

    I think the Route Basics info is slightly out. There is a lead in to the route although very small. I rode this route yesterday (Fri 16/7) and if remember correctly, there was a lead of about 500 meters. Enjoyed this route myself for something different from Watopia and others.

    On Strava there is a Flatland Loop (old), what’s the difference with the new Flatland Loop? Did a Zwift update introduce an adjustment?

    Thanks. Rode it today in stage 2 of the “Vitality for Unicef Ride Series”, of course on the brand new “Cervelo S5 2020” with the “DT Swiss ARC 1100 DiCut 62” wheels resulting in 17:13, great reviews. Zwift Insider’s leaderboards complete again, going for better times now until new routes arrive. 😉 Ride On!

    Beware, the map and profile is for the old version of Flatland loop which did not go through the Village Sprint!

    The information on this route is either wrong or out of date, it mentions two village loop as the flattest but that’s incorrect – wandering flats has less elevation per km ridden
