Hidden in yesterday’s Zwift update is an easter egg for Zwift Ride owners: custom white paint schemes for the Zwift’s Carbon, Aero, TT and Concept ZI (aka “Tron”) frames!
The paint scheme is a white frame with a shiny Zwift logo on the downtube, mimicking the Zwift Ride’s real-life paint scheme:
Once you update to Zwift version 1.69 or later and enter the game with your Zwift Ride frame controllers paired, you will see a banner notifying you of the unlock:
From there, just click on the custom paint scheme at the bottom-right after picking the Zwift Concept Z1 frame in order to get the white “Ride In Style” paint scheme:
It’s important to note that pairing a Zwift Ride only unlocks the paint scheme. It doesn’t unlock the actual bike(s)! You’ll still need to earn your Tron bike before you can apply the new white paint.

So and now the biggest question: Is there a workaround to get the paintjobs without buying the Ride? Should be possible by mimic the Ride-controllers or?

No, you have to have the new controllers that ship with the Zwift Ride frame.
First, I need the Frame, without the Kickr Core. 😄
More paint scheme unlocks would be awesome. Bring on the red S-Works Venge, level 100.
It would have been cool if instead of just making existing frames white they had made a new one that looks exactly like the zwift ride, just with a slight modification to the front so wheels can be attached
White is the fastest colour, so zwift has become pay to win! 😆
I think that’s pretty cool and I don’t mind them applying it to the regular frames in game for Zwift Ride users-only but doing it for the Tron bike rubs me the wrong way.
The Tron bike is at least to a certain degree a sign of a loyal customer and not only does the majority of those already own a smart trainer like a Kickr that they don’t want to replace but a lot of people are actually waiting to be able to purchase the standalone frame.
In my opinion, they should have at least waited for users to be able to purchase the frame-only version before releasing the Tron paint job.
I wish they would fix the existing Tron color choices! Currently it is a full spectrum slider with most of the colors not being applied once you exit the Garage. And how about color choice memory so we don’t have to fiddle with it after every bike change?

Hmmm, on version 1.69 and I have the Ride, but no white option in colour scheme????
New paint jobs after level 100 woud be a great reward. I m still at 82, but I am worried to loose motivation in about half a year. Paint jobs could be deactivated during events with too many riders if performance is an issue. But look to the custom paint jobs in TdF.
Even if visible only in the garage would be an option.
Custom paint job would certainly be cool. I might use that. Never would use the level 100 kit. Feels over the top bragging.
In theory they did a good job with the confetti socks for level 100. Problem with them is that if you want to use them you have to replace the fire socks which is the only unlock that actually does something. No idea why they did that instead of introducing a confetti hat or shoes instead.

So you can only get the new paint option if you have handlebar controllers? Sigh.
Question on the Zwift Ride, can aerobar be added to the handle bars, I cannot quite tell how the handlebars are shaped
They’re standard round bars. The only question with clip-on aero bars is whether they have clearance in the middle for the Zwift Ride tray. Depends on the clips/bars, I would guess.
the white frame isn’t avalible anymore?
Is it just me or does the white tron bike “light up” when you pedal and get dimmer when you just coast?
Edit: Haven’t spotted this on black frame but had my first white frame ride yesterday and saw this.

I have a zwift bike, and an apple tv. I can’t figure out the how to select the white frame from the controllers. No nav combo gets to the bottom right.
If I login on my PC, I can set it. But it reverts back to black if I change bikes

Nope, that won’t work. Those controllers are different than the Play controllers on the Zwift Ride!
