Post below!

I wish Missions came with XP. I know couldn’t care less as they are maxed, but another incentive for doing them.
i love this idea to get folks to try multiple things and you can make new Omniums
I agree. I’m not going to do Zwift rides I’m not interested in just to get a badge which is pointless.
The badge is pointless, the XPs are not?
Missions do not give you extra XP. My original comment was suggesting they add XP for completing these missions. Some won’t care because they are maxed levels.
Since this thread is short, I need to ask something totally unrelated (although I’ll try to do the omnium). I’ve been off the bike for a couple of months due to an IRL bike wreck but the orthopedist says I can start back on Zwift. I may have missed a memo but often I see a faint red dotted line about 100 m ahead which moves ahead of me. What is that? Thanks
In grouprides? Maybe the fence?
Just a faint red, dashed line. Not the fence. In solo rides and even races. Haven’t done a group ride in months. Thanks
Post a screenshot on the Zwift forum
does it go away if you toggle off the graph off? if so maybe it is your HRM. i’ve seen it show up as a broken line near the bottom of the screen.
?
Does anyone know if Pretzelfest group rides and/or Get Rolling races count towards this mission?
I’m sure they do.
Thanks for the note Eric. I recently completed Stage 1 of Pretzelfest and it did not show up as a group ride in Omnium. I’m planning on Stage 1 of Get Rolling tomorrow so if it doesn’t show up as a race in Omnium I’ll post on the Zwift forums.
I completed Stage 1 of the Get Rolling race series this morning and it WAS credited to the Omnium mission. I’ll reach out to Zwift to determine why PretzelFest isn’t counting as a group ride.
Low and behold – the Omnium Mission started about an hour after I did my PretzelFest ride; “missed it by that much” 😆
I have the same issue. No credit for the Get Rolling races.
In order to complete the race, what do I need? I don’t have a heartrate monitor or anything like that, just a Kickr Bike v1. I’m just not sure where to find that information, and I don’t have plans to race in Zwift any time soon, so if I need to invest in some gear that I don’t have, I’ll probably just forego this month’s mission, unfortunately. Thanks in advance!
Some races require a HRM – you can tell in the Companion app because it’ll show an icon for that. Most will let you race without one, though. I’d say just join a race and give it a try!
If you want to race seriously I’d recommend a heart rate monitor, as many races require heartrate if you want to show up in the final results on ZwiftPower. (But you can still race on Zwift without it.)
Thanks so much!
Just completed a time trial race and noticed that this didn’t count towards the race component for the badge. Is that true – that TT races don’t count for this badge ?
They SHOULD, but who knows how it’s set up on Zwift’s end. Contact Zwift support and let ’em know?
Thanks – I submitted a comment on the forum as well.
I’m trying to finish the Omnium badge this month and I see it’s giving me credit for a group ride, and a training event. But I’m not getting credit for a race and I’ve completed 3 of 4 races in the Zwift racing Get Rolling series for September. Why doesn’t it give credit for the 3 of 3 activities for the Omnium badge?
