DT Swiss Reborn Faster Festival Announced

Zwift has just rolled out a weeklong event series in partnership with DT Swiss. Centered around the newly-launched revamped ARC 1100 62mm wheelset from DT Swiss, the “DT Swiss Reborn Faster Festival” features races and group rides led by pro riders. All rides will auto-assign the new DT Swiss ARC 62 wheelset to riders.

About the Events

This series includes group rides, races, and group workouts across a variety of routes, with several events scheduled each day. Many of the group rides will be led by DT Swiss-sponsored pro riders (just look for their name in the event title).

Events begin with a group ride on Sunday August 16 at 10pm Pacific, and end Sunday at 11:30am Pacific.

Unlocks and Prizes

Finish one event in the series and you’ll get the new DT Swiss ARC 62 wheelset added to your Zwift garage.

There’s also a prize drawing: a set of real-life ARC 1100 DICUT 62mm wheels! Each event you finish in the series gets you one more entry into the giveaway, and one man and one woman will each win a set.

Ugh, I bought the wheelset yesterday. Seems like a bad decision to release this in the drop shop just before announcing this event.

Me too. Poor timing! Bought these before I saw the event release.

I logged a support ticket with Zwift asking for a refund of the Drops that I spent on these wheels…. just FYI… we’ll see what they say.

Glad I didn’t buy the wheels…Times are odd for USA…Midnight or middle of the morning while you’re at work! Guess I’ll have to wait till next weekend for this free-wheel-ride!

Not a very well organized event…No good time options for people in the pacific time zone with conventional professional jobs, the times are identical every day, and I couldn’t find any specifics about the rides

Like me, you’ll likely have to wait for the weekend event.

Bought the wheels and used them with the Cervelo S5 today on the Stage 1 Maap ride. The course was the painful but scenic Muir and the Mountain route. The wheels included disk brakes, adding two additional brakes to the S5. So I was clearly all set for a safe KQOM descent.
Please see the attached photo for the double brakes. Zwift artifacts aside, I rode these wheels on tires legs to achieve a personal best and KOM on Titan’s Grove Reverse.

Thanks for the info! I’m confused though. I’m looking at the races. The only women’s category is (E), below 2.5 wkg. I race the C category. Must I race with the men in the C category? Have I misunderstood?

I completed the DT Swiss & Patrick Nilsson Reborn Faster Festival today. Is there anything further I must do in order to enter the contest to win the wheelset IRL?
