So, in this time of potential infection with Covid-19, it is probably best to NOT do a vEverest while sitting around at the house. The scientific literature cited shows a 60% stress level (% of maximum) for 60 minutes. NOT a 12-20 hour bike ride at one time. And if you do the longer activity, it will DECREASE your immune function. People need to be sensible during this time.

Absolutely correct, Alvin. If you’re concerned about COVID-19 I would suggest keeping things status quo and not going for “epic” rides. Continue to exercise and look after yourself though as exercise, diet, sleep, etc. all have positive effects on immunity.
