    Watch the Femmes Mission Announced

    Eric Schlange
    By Eric Schlange

Zwift’s new Watch the Femmes Mission runs from July 1 through August 1, and it’s all about encouraging fans to #watchthefemmes and support the world’s top pro ladies as they make history across 8 stages in France in the Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift!

    Here are all the details…

    Joining and Completing the Mission

Sign up for the Mission by clicking the tile on your home screen and accepting the terms and conditions.

To complete the Mission, ride any 8 Zwift events (they don’t have to be WtF-specific) between July 1-August 1.

See a list of upcoming events at zwift.com/watch-the-femmes-mission >

    Watch the Femmes Events

From July 1-July 7th, WtF events are 50-minute rides where a podcast will play, sharing history and information on how you can #watchthefemmes.

From July 8-31, ride 8 stages of in-game routes inspired by the real-life Tour. Routes will be decked out in all their Femme glory!

The 8-stage series will be repeated three times, with multiple daily timeslots for each stage.

    • Stage 1 – July 8, July 16, July 24: Paris | Champs-Élysées  (4 laps)
    • Stage 2 – July 9, July 17, July 25: France | R.G.V. (1 lap)
    • Stage 3 – July 10, July 18, July 26: France | Tire-Bouchon (Segment)
    • Stage 4 – July 11, July 19, July 27: France | Casse-Pattes (1 lap)
    • Stage 5 – July 12, July 20, July 28: France | Douce France  (1 lap)
    • Stage 6 – July 13, July 21, July 29: France | Roule ma Poule  (1 lap)
    • Stage 7 – July 14, July 22, July 30: France | Ven-Top  (1 lap)
    • Stage 8 – July 15, July 23, July 31: France | La Reine  (1 lap)

These are rides, not races (so no ZwiftPower points). But some riders will certainly push the pace on the front. Find some friends and ride at whatever pace you’d like!

See a list of upcoming events at zwift.com/watch-the-femmes-mission >

    Kit Unlocks

Complete any WtF event and unlock the WtF hat and socks. (These are the same hat/socks unlocked in the #NEWRULES 100K Mission back in April.)

Complete 8 Zwift events to unlock the exclusive WtF kit.

    Prize Drawings

Four prizes will be given away at the conclusion of this Mission. Earn your entry into each prize drawing by completing up to 8 Zwift events!

    • Complete 2 Events (Mission 25% complete): White Jersey Prize – an official Santini GC champion jersey signed by the winner of the White Jersey of the 2022 Tour De France Femmes Avec Zwift
    • Complete 4 Events (Mission 50% complete): Green Jersey Prize – an official Santini GC champion jersey signed by the winner of the Green Jersey of the 2022 Tour De France Femmes Avec Zwift
    • Complete 6 Events (Mission 75% complete): Polka Dot Jersey Prize – an official Santini GC champion jersey signed by the winner of the Polka Dot Jersey of the 2022 Tour De France Femmes Avec Zwift
    • Complete 8 Events (Mission 100% complete): Yellow (Maillot Jaune) Jersey Prize – an official Santini GC champion jersey signed by the winner of the Yellow (Maillot Jaune) Jersey of the 2022 Tour De France Femmes Avec Zwift

    How to Watch the Femmes

Wondering how to watch the actual race?

Official broadcasters include France.tv Sport and Eurovision Sport. In the USA, NBC Sports will be broadcasting the Tour.

Shame there’s no new of France routes alongside the TdFF seeing as they’re a named partner!

Ride any 8 events to unlock the kit, or 1 of each stages routes? I really DO NOT want to do ven-top or LaReine again

It doesn’t look like there will be. Missions don’t have makeup days.

Is it just me or looks like all events are women-only? Which seems fair, of course, but if that’s the case… why letting boys subscribe to the mission?

What makes you think the events are women-only? I don’t see any of them that are set up this way.

I tried to get into one yesterday, and the only available category was the “E”, that should (should) be women only. But actually, I tried today after your message and it let me get in, so that is not a real constraint. Makes sense, actually. Just a brainf*rt on my side…

E isn’t women only. E is typically used for events where there’s no stated pace. Sort of the “open pace” category.

There is a prologue – does „any event“ mean the eight stages plus prologue or without?

My guess is any event includes the prologue!

I did the prologue a couple of hours ago and no unlock, even tried to exit and launch Zwift again 🤔
But a great ride with good vibes in the group chat 👍😃

Did you register for the mission first? I did the prologue ride and unlocked the socks and cap and now I’m showing 13% completion for the mission.

Yep… registered the day before the ride and it’s showing 13% completion 🤔 I’ve seen delayed unlocks before, but rode 5 hours today and still no unlock 🙂

Just to add a data point, I rode the prologue today. Weirdly enough, I already had 13% credit before the the ride. At the end of the 50 minutes, I got the socks and hat (in-game pop-up with the “you have unlocked” message.) Now the challenge says I have completed 25% and two rides despite just doing the one.

It appears ANY group ride counts – not just the WTF rides.

Indeed – and not only rides. I did a FMR group run this morning and now show 3 out of 8 complete for the mission. Not complaining, as the times available for the WtF rides aren’t always great and this is going to make completion way easier!

Yes – I just confirmed with ZwiftHQ that ANY group ride event will count toward completing this mission. I’ve updated the text above accordingly…

Hello everyone. I am completely new to Zwift and haven’t biked regular since I was a kid. I’m really enjoying things so far (been back riding for about 6 weeks). Can anyone give a hint as to what the WtF kit would include? I’m just curious what these things usually are. My goal is to finish 6 of the “stage” events including the Prologue that I completed today. I’m not ready to attempt the longer climbing routes on the “stages” routes and hope to just complete 2 more regular events to finish the mission. I also read somewhere to take… Read more »

Once we complete any of those 8 events, does it means we are automatically into the draw of the price? or is there a process we need to follow manually/separately? @Eric Schlange.

Entery is automatic, as far as I know. At least, the terms and conditions don’t mention any additional steps!
