Zwift version 1.65 begins its phased rollout today. This is a very minor update, with a few bug fixes and quality of life tweaks. See details below…
Release Notes
There’s not much to dig into in this update, but we’ve added a few notes in italics after Zwift’s notes below:
- Restored the count of paired devices displayed next to the Pairing button on the Home Screen. The updated Home Screen released two weeks ago had removed the count of paired devices from the pairing icon – this has been restored.
- Corrected the name of the Queen’s Highway After Party route badge. This badge was released two weeks ago, and was incorrectly named “Queens Highway Reverse”.
- Fixed an issue where meetup invite messages did not display properly when in-game.
- Fixed a visual issue where the Alpe du Zwift “Sector Stats” pane could overlap with Personal Records.
- Fixed an issue where the Intersection Controls setting could be missing for Zwifters with steering devices connected.
- Fixed an issue that could cause some steering devices to feel less responsive. Recently we’ve experienced some sluggish steering, sometimes only in one direction, and only in events. Our contacts at Zwift say this update this fix the issue.

I’ve noticed the sluggish steering bug a lot in the last couple of weeks. On my first return to Repack Rush in probably 6 months a week or 2 back, it was especially bad. I thought they had just changed something to make that route harder, but it has been a bit slower in races too. Good to hear they’ve (hopefully) fixed it.
Nice to see this update. Because I’m sure I’m not the only one, but I did report the issue on bullet two.
Is the Queen’s Highway After Party still not showing up in the route list for anybody else? The other routes published at the same time are all visible/usable.
What happened to the new levels? Thought they were coming out in the early May release? Also with the sub increase you would have thought they might have given a big update to ease the pain. I honestly think Zwift could not take their customers more for granted if they tried.
Eric, Appreciate the constant updates.
Q: Will the new HUD features be rolled out for iPad anytime soon?
Cheers.
Hoping they move the ride with a friend back to the left of the menu rather than having to scroll to find it at some point…
I thought Zwift would go all out with the update after the price increase. Apparently not …
If the cleaners learned to program, then yes.
^ Lotta baggage there
The ‘This Season on Zwift’ documents clearly say that the changes are happening in future months. Just as they have in previous ‘This Season on Zwift’ notices.
Will you guys make it possible to purchase the bike that was in the spin game last month, with your drop points that we build up in the game while riding in it?
That’s up to Zwift – not Zwift Insider. We’re just a fan site!
Bummer, hoping that they would give Kickr V5 access to Virtual shifting.
I believe that’s a Wahoo issue…
Steering (on Sterzo) fixed and now working smoothly. Thx!
Up until this week I was receiving 500 bonus points everyday I continued my riding streak. Is that not a thing anymore?
They stopped that weeks ago. If you were still getting it it’s because you weren’t running the current version of Zwift.
Now you just get 500XP on your first day extending your streak. But no more bonuses for the week.
