Route Description
Events here begin in the Times Square start pens with a short lead-in to the lap arch, which also serves as the finish line.
You’ll travel south through the lap arch, then make a long hairpin left to begin the only bit of climb on this route. (This bit is around 700 meters long and climbs a total of 16 meters, so it’s not much of a climb at all.)
The next portion of the circuit is largely downhill, but again, not steep. The downhill portion takes you back to the circuit’s main straight, where you’ll finish through the lap banner.

This route doesn’t seem to appear in the standard NYC World list. From the looks of it, it can only be done in an event. Shouldn’t it then be marked “Event Only” in the Master List?
this map can be accessed with a workout
This isn’t true. At least not in Zwift V1.101.0 (154518), which I’m quite sure is the current one.
I’m on V1.102.00 and can access it via a workout.
Oh, so it’s really a version problem. Thanks. Sorry about the confusion.
There are a couple of ways to access the route (even if NYC is not an active World). There’s the workout route as mentioned above. Also by using the Companion app to add it to your list and it will show up in the ‘FOR YOU’ list on the home screen.
700km climb? Wow, new long ride!
Perhaps you’re looking at the incorrect route! This one has just 20m!
It was a typo that I fixed…
Yeah, I know, but wonder if you should let AI to proof-read these 😉
Also, this route is still not marked for free ride in the Companion – probably need v3.76.2 for that and rollout was delayed due to crashes.
Is it just me that finds the idea of a square circuit amusing?
Cute little loop. Circle around the appropriate number of times.
If it’s scenic enough, it make into one of my usual routes.
I love the vibe of the NY expansion stuff but the courses for racing are honestly super boring so far. It would be great if every lap there was like a punchy futuristic climb spiraling around Rockefeller Center or The Empire State building or something.
This route needs a sprint segment.. a good crit circuit.
