“The Classic” Route Details (Watopia)

Animated “The Classic” Route Details (Watopia) Map
Animated map provided by ZwiftHacks

The route that started it all! When Zwift launched its initial beta on September 30, 2014, the only road in game was Jarvis Island. And we could only ride in one direction!

“The Classic” brings back this original road, in the original direction, but this time as part of Watopia. (Curious about the original road? Here’s the Strava segment which saw just over 120,000 attempts before Jarvis closed.)

Route Description

Route profile by ZwiftHub – the place to plan and track your route achievements!

You’ll begin with a lead-in from downtown Watopia which takes you around the northern half of the Volcano before turning right to head into the Jarvis Island area. The lead-in ends and the lap begins at the lap arch which you’ll ride through near the end of the village.

As you continue around Jarvis counterclockwise, you’ll see the Queen Mary on the right, then the road will tilt upward and you’ll begin the Jarvis KOM. Turn up your sound to hear music as you pass the Banjo Cafe, then dig deep as you cross the second bridge near the top of the KOM!

Through the ride-thru tree, you’ll descend the backside of the KOM and hit the Jarvis Sprint at the bottom. Keep spinning around the loop until you’re through the lap banner, and that’s this route finished.
