Why did they have to replace Repack Ridge? Better yet, why couldn’t they add a “Rush” course and build out more like Ridge? Yes, very few people were riding RR recently, but couldn’t that be because it was so short? Having to do laps of the same 8 minute loop was boring, but a MTB course with distance like others in Zwift would have been great. This is very disappointing. I guess they thought they needed a Tron course for the Tron bikes.

It’s truly a joke. Garmin finally managed to give the Smart Bike the steering mode, and then this happens. I was so looking forward to finally riding the Repack Ridge. And now it’s just asphalt again. Even though Repack Rush is enjoyable, I would have preferred the MTB trail. I don’t understand why they couldn’t have offered both trails simultaneously.

Very disappointed to see Repack Ridge replaced with Tarmac! We needed a longer MTB route not to have it replaced. Please bring back some MTB options.

I love re-pack rush it is similar to the sonic hedgehog game keeps your attention. It’s fun to steer and pick up the time bonus rings and avoid the red mats that will slow you down

Repack Ridge was all subtlety with the steering, whereas this is just being able to see where the right spot is and picking a lane. It would work much better with steering buttons because with the Sterzo Smart in order to turn fast I’m swinging the bars around and the physical bike I’m using has some toe overlap so the wheel keeps hitting my foot. Meh.

In the new update there’s a routebadge for this one. But I don’t have zwift play or trainer from zwift list. In the old days you could steer with your phione but it doesnt work. Is it possible to do this route without zwift recommended stuff?

Sad but it makes sense. Most people on Xwift are road riders. And if you’ve ever done repack ridge you can imagine how frustrating it would be for a roadie. I only saw a roadie on there once. He was lying by the trail in a crumpled heap of twisted metal and shiny spandex right after the first difficult corner. Crying and spluttering into his fancy coffee. A total mess. I had to carry him out. Sad but it makes sense.

For those that like to complete all the badge, this seems like a gimmick to get people to buy the steering gadget. This isn’t a cheap hobby as is, and now there will be many that can never complete all the badge courses. It’s ok the have the course for those that have the steering, but then don’t have it as a badge. Personally I’m not into the video gaming aspect, I do Zwift for the structured workouts and racing segments only.

Has anyone found a way to get the badge without having to buy the device? It is my last badge. Thanks!

Where do you find this course??? I found it when I started zwift today but now I cannot find it in the menu! It was really fun. I used to do this one ride like that but with dragons that you had to chase. It takes your mind off what you are doing!

Did they remove the badge for this route? I finally got the controllers and I’ve ridden the route twice but no badge.
