Route Description

Beginning at the start pens, we turn left and head across Tower Bridge before turning a hard right into the Underground station. Descend the stairs, ride through the tunnel, then begin to wind your way up to the start line of this route’s biggest feature: the Fox Hill climb.

After climbing Fox you’ll descend Box Hill, climb up through the Underground station, head up to Trafalgar Square, then ride along the Thames to the start/finish line. Ready for another lap?

The Strava segment for London Loop Reverse from Pens needs to be altered slightly as it’s very difficult to match. It seems to start way back in the pens, so if you happen to start your ride in one of the front pens (very likely), you don’t get the segment.

Totally agree, it needs adjusting to the front of the pens. I did the route today with 97 riders in the cat C start pens and was not far enough back to get the Strava segment. 🙁
