Route Description

Route profile by ZwiftHub – the place to plan and track your route achievements!

The route begins from the downtown Watopia start pier, quickly heading up the Hilly KOM. But riders will turn right halfway up the KOM, taking the bypass road which drops them onto the bottom of the KOM Reverse descent past the statues.

Take another right onto the bypass road that delivers you onto the JWB Bridge, then kick up the short ramp into The Esses before heading over to the Volcano.

This corkscrew effort to the top of the smoky Volcano is the biggest climb of the route, but riders may also be keeping a bit in reserve, knowing this route ends with an uphill finish.

Spin those legs out and enjoy the descent from the Volcano, then you head back through downtown Watopia and up the full Hilly KOM for the final effort. Allez allez!

Tried this route from zwift games screen and my avatar went off route so I didn’t get the badge, seems like something is broken with the routing

For added info, did this from the Route Chaser Zwift Games screen, and it routed fine and I got the badge.

i really like this route – on completion it sends you round the Hilly Loop, and then if you keep going you’re back on the Downtown Eruption route again – so for longer rides there’s a little more variety than just doing the same loop again

Cool 😎 👍 Thanks for the info! I was just about to hit that Route, and was thinking 🤔 what to do to make this Ride a little longer, yet, staying close to the original Route. My idea was to cash that Badge, turn around after KOM and navigate manually on the second Loop. But I guess, it won’t be necessary if after Hilly Loop it gets me BACK 🔙 🚴 on the Route. Awesome 👏👏👏

Hi Brian, at Zwift HQ we’re reviewing reports of Zwifters going off route in the new Zwift Games routes. Please feel free to reach out to me directly ([email protected]) and I can look into this for you.

I was able to successfully complete the route when I rode it a different day!

Hey Eric, do you have a master list of routes with columns showing predicted times for 2, 3, 4 wkg, either on the site or a spreadsheet? It would be very useful to help plan events. Perhaps you’d consider adding those columns on the master route list page?

For Big Spin 2026, this has two spinners on it, the t3 volcano and the T2 Hilly. Not a bad route for some spins.
